My View of the World Trade Center, 9/11/01

On this site are the photographs I took on September 11, 2001 and the days immediately following. Most of them were out my window, as I had decided, the day before, to take the day off work. I ignored the first loud boom, but my girlfriend's phone call told me to look out the window, and there they were, the twin towers on fire. My plans for the day went up in smoke, as did my job in lower Manhattan. Unable to think of what I could do to help, and realizing that this was a once-in-a-lifetime event, I grabbed my camera...
