"Rowen, where are we going?" Magma asked as she tried
to keep up.
"We're trying to loose our company behind us." Rowen
answered as he noticed Magma stumble. he pulled her behind a large tree
that happened to have a hallow trunk.
"Stay here! I'll be right back." Rowen whispered.
Magma didn't have time to say anything before he was already gone. In the
back ground she heard some of the soldiers yell as they caught sight of
Rowen. Magma peeked from the trunk and looked at the battle that was going
on. It was 20 against one. Rowen was holding his own, but he didn't notice
the group of soldiers that was coming up behind him. Magma closed her eyes
and concentrated. Rowen finished off the last of the soldiers and turned
around. He found a group of soldiers laying on the ground our cold, but
he didn't remember knocking them out. He shrugged it off for now and went
over to where Magma was waiting.
Cye and Katie ran through the forest as fast as they could. The soldiers
were on their heels.
"We, can't fight!" Cye yelled as they ran.
"I know, but we can't just keep running!" Katie
said.
"Ok, then what are we going to do?" Cye asked as
they dodged behind some trees to get away, but it didn't work.
"It doesn't look like we're going to get away."
Cye commented as he kicked down one of the soldiers.
"No kidding... I guess we're gonna have to fight."
Katie agreed donning her subarmor with Cye following. After a few minuets
the soldiers were down, and they headed away from them. Finally a few minuets
later they stopped.
"I... I.. can't go on, Cye.." Katie said as she
breathed heavily.
"M... me either.." Cye agreed, "We should find somewhere
we will be safe first."
"H.. how about over there?" Katie said pointing
to a dark area in the middle of a group of trees.
"Looks good to me." Cye said as they made themselves
walk the distance. Once they stepped upon the the dark secluded spot they
both collapsed. A shadow appeared over the two exhausted figures and pushed
Cye's leg the rest away so they were completely hidden and then it disappeared.
"Sage-san! How much farther!" Kashikoi asked as they
ran along
"Do you know where we are?" Sage asked as they dodged
some low branches.
"um.. Yes, we are near a small cave system." Kashikoi
answered.
"Good, we can hide there! lead the way." Sage said.
Kashikoi headed off in another direction and soon they came upon an entrance
to a large cave.
"But, they know the caves. They've been trained
in them!" Kashikoi said as they looked into the dimness of the cave.
"We're not going into the caves.. but they will
think we did." Sage said as he started around the entrance of the cave,
"You coming?"
"Um.. yea, i guess." Kashikoi said as he followed.
The two hid behind a small outcrop of rocks. The soldiers that were following
them appeared at the cave entrance a few min later. Kashikoi and Sage waited
to see what they would do.
"Sir, do you think they entered the cave?" One of
the solders asked as they peered into the cave.
"It's a possibility, but Kashikoi knows that we
know the cave system." The other soldier replied, "Ok, half of you follow
me and we'll scout the cave. The rest of you search around the area. If
you find them whistle the signal." The soldier commanded. The others nodded
and split up.
"Sage-san, what shall we do? They will surely find
us." Kashikoi asked fearfully.
"You can teleport correct?" Sage asked as he kept
watch on the soldiers.
"Y.. yes, but I need to know where I need to teleport
to first." Kashikoi explained.
"Good.. When I say so, teleport us over there where
that thick group of trees are. Can you do that?" Sage asked.
"Yes, I'm ready, just tell me when." Kashikoi nodded.
Sage watched the soldiers as they slowly came closer. Sage picked up a
small rock and threw it away from them. The soldiers whistled to the others
and started heading in their direction.
"Ok, Now!" Sage commanded. Kashikoi closed his eyes
and and in a second they were gone. They appeared in the grouping of trees.
"All right. Let's get out of here." Sage said as he started to run away
with Kashikoi following, leaving the soldiers still looking around the
caves for them.
Ryo and Tsukai ran as fast as they could though the soldiers seemed
to be moving faster. As they ran Ryo couldn't get his mind off Magma.
'Is she all right?' he asked himself as they ran
"Ryo-san, please they are catching up!" Tsukai yelled
as he took a sharp turn and ducked into some large bushes. The soldiers
ran past the two, "That was close, what is wrong, Ryo-san? Are you worried
about Magma-san?" Tsukai asked as he checked to make sure the soldiers
were gone.
"Yes, I hope she is all right." Ryo confirmed.
"I'm sure Rowen-san will take good care of her.
We need to meet up with the others now." Tsukai said as he stood up.
"But where are they?" Ryo asked.
"I do not know, but we still need to find them."
Tsukai said as they headed off in a general direction.
"Sir, we have lost them." A soldier reported.
"Very well, We'll go now and report to the queen."
Kento commanded as they headed off to the castel.
"My queen Hardrock has returned." The General reported.
"Does he bring any prisoners? Or at least his armor?"
The queen asked.
"He is here now, my queen, you may aske him." The
General said as he stepped aside. The grand doors opened to reveil a figure
in a dark orange armor.
"Kento of Hardrock? Is that you?" The queen asked
"Yes my queen. I've come for your insturctions."
Kento said kneeling.
"Were you able to caputer any of the enemy?" The
Queen asked
"No, They were able to slip away. But I did get
my armor back. With it they will not be able to derfete me." Kento said
with assurtion.
"Very well, Tomarrow you will go and hunt them down.
And you will rid me of the enemy for once and for all." The Queen commanded.
"Yes, my queen. I will do as you say." Kento said
as he bowed and left. Once out in the hall White Blaze joinded him at his
side. "I will defete them White Blaze. Tomorrow Shall be the Final Battle!"
