Katie opened her eyes and turned her head toward her brother in the other bed. She sat strait up. Matt was not in the bed next to her's. Katie got out of bed and became very dizzy. 'Did I just dream that he was all right?' She asked herself as she slowly crept out of the room. She could hear the kids all laughing and having fun. She slowly made her way downstairs. At the bottom of the stairs she saw the kids playing with someone. They were all on top of him so she couldn't make out who it was. She stood their for a moment when Shin came from the kitchen and saw her standing there. "So, your finally up. Touma was even up before you." Shin said as he walked to her. After he had said that all the kids lead by Jun ran to Katie. "It's about time you got up." Jun exclaimed. Katie had sat down on the stairs hugging each and every one of them. "This is what I truly missed." Katie said as she was hugging them. "Katie, you were right. The world has changed. The kids conviced me of that." a voice came. "You mean I was right this time?" Katie said as she tried to get up but became dizzy agian and couldn't. "Katie take it easy." Matt said as he walked over to her. Katie embraced him and thought that she would never let go. "I thought I had lost you." Katie said as she started to cry. "I will always be with you, no matter what happens." he said as he hugged her back. By then the rest of the guys had entered the room. "Aww, isn't that sweet." Shu said batting his eyes. "Shut up Shu." Katie said, "Or I'll have Matt attack. Matt stood up and started cracking his nuckles. "Uhh, never mind." Shu said hurridly as he backed up a bit. Everybody just laughed. "All right, all right. We really need to get serious, where are Kayura and the Masho?" Katie said looking around. "The Masho are out sparring and Kayura's meditating." Seiji said jestering to another room. " Well, we need to figure out what we're going to do. Are we going to plan something or just go rushing in as Shu suggested earler." Katie asked. "You don't have enough time to plan out an attack." Kayura said commng from the room she was in, "I suggest that you all go out and try to prepare yourselfs physicaly and mentaly before tomarrow." "Why, what's tomarrow?" Shu asked. "Tomarrow you will attack the City." Everybody's mouths dropped. "Why so soon?" Matt asked. "If we wait any longer, their won't be any stop to the speading of it's borders." Kayura explained. "When we acually get to the Master, how are we going to defete him. We already know the kikkote alone won't work." Ryo said. "Your right, the kikkote alone won't work. But, it won't be alone." "What are you talking about, Kayura?" Shin asked. "Yea, the only ones able to fight once the kikkote is formed will be Katie, Matt, and the Masho." Touma stated. "Your right ,Touma. They will help the kikkote." "Are they going to help form the kikkote or what?" Seiji asked. "I do not yet know. But they will help, somehow they will help." Everybody remaied quied for a while thinking about what Kayura had just said. "Hey Erika, will you help me finish luch, so we can go practice afterwards?" Shin asked breaking the silence. "Sure, comming Makoto?" "I'm right behind you." Makoto said following Erika to the kitchen.

After luch was eaten and the table cleaned, the Troopers, Matt, and the Masho met outside to practice. Anubus desided to help Matt with his new armor, while Nazza paired up with Rajura, Touma with Shu, Seiji with Ryo, and Katie with Shin. The kids sat in the shade watching while Kayura was in the house meditating again.

After about an hour of practicing the sky grew dark and clouds covered up the once bright sun. The kids ran inside and the warriors all prepared for battle. Out from the darkness came Kichigai. Behind him were some of the higher ranking warlords of the master. "Well, what do we have here." Kichigai said mockenly. "You call these warriors, all I see are a coulple of traitors, some old samurai, and a bunch of kids." One of the other warlords said. "Oh, don't underestimate them. They're stronger then they look." Kichigai replied. "What did you come here for?" Ryo damanded. "We were sent to destroy you. Attack" Kichigai yelled. All ten warriors jumped up into the air and called upon their yoroi:

"Busooo, Rekka"
"Suiko"
"Kongo"
"Korin"
"Tenku"

"Busoooo, Chikyuu"
"Oni"
"Yami"
"Doku"
"Gen"

The warlords attacked each taking on one of the warriors, Kichigai confronted Kaite. Katie unshethed her katanas and blocked the attack. "What do you see in this world that is so important to you?" Kichigai asked as he made another attempt. "It's bueaty, serenity, and the people that live here." Katie resonded as she blocked that attack and countered. "I don't think I'll ever understand you humans." Kichigai responded blocking her katanas. As with Kichigai and Katie the other seemed to be matched in stale mates, no one on either side getting any hits in. In a split second all the warlord became stonger, now getting majority of their hits in. All ten of the warriors were now being beaten. Katie could see everybody getting tired. Shu was able to get away from his opponent long enough to use his sure kill, though it did little to aid him. On her right she could hear as the others tried thier attacks:

"Ja Ga Ken"

"Chouryuu Ha"

"Ankoku Cho Giri"

"Rai Kou Zan"

None of them having any effect. Katie looked to Matt to see how he was faring. She noticed that he had already used his sure kill and like the others it had no effect. Deep inside she could feel that something was going to happen. She looked over to the others and noticed that all the troopers were glowing, they were going to form the kikkote. Just as they were about to give Ryo thier power his opponent shot a heavy blast of energy. The blast hit Ryo and knocked him into the ground. Everybody heard his cry, mentaly and physicly, the sene flowing in slow motion as it was played. Ryo layed on the ground, not moving. His opponent started to make his finale attack when Kayura intervined with the shakujo between her and the warlord. Ryo was bearly alive, everybody could feel it. With Ryo out there was no way to form the kikkote. The warlords regrouped to attack again. The warriors also regrouped, gaurding Ryo and Kayura. "Kayura, how bad is he?" Touma asked looking back. "Not good." Kayura replied. "We have to do something. However they got stronger we have to be able to handle it." Seiji said. "It'll be hard. That power they have is from the master. When a warlord is losing or is in a stale mate a dark power will ignigt to give them a chance to win." Matt explained. "Pretty much, the Master is fighting through them." Katie contuied. "That's bad news." Shu commented. The warlords attacked again. Each taking on a differnt person. Kayura fought to keep them away from Ryo, as Kichgai attacked Matt. They were all being defeted. At this rate they would lose. A screem was heard in the background as Shin was smashed against a tree, his yari about 20ft away. 'This can't be happening.' Katie thought to herself, 'We have to win.' Katie blocked another attack and jumped away from her attacker. ' I was able to use the Troopers powers, but that was only one at a time. But, I still have to try' She mentally asked Matt and the Masho for help. The five started to glow. They regrouped, Katie in front with the other four behind her. The Masho and Matt used their sure kills, aimed right at Katie:

"Kou Rai Sen"
"Ankoku Cho Giri"
"Ja Ga Ken"
"Tou Chi Mou"

But instead of impacting and destroying it's target, all the attacks gathered in her hands. To the energy she held she added her's, all five of the elements. Once this was done, with out a word being said, she raised the ball of energy above her head and threw it at the warlords. The ball made impact at their feet and exploded. A bright flash of light followed and Kichigai could be heard, " I'll get you for this, I swear" and then all the warlords dissapeard, bearly escaping the attack.

Katie fell to the ground breathing hard. Matt ran up to her, "Katie are you all right?" "I'm fine, just out of breath." Katie responded, "How's Shin and Ryo?" "They'll be all right. Seiji healed Ryo and Shin just had the wind knocked out of him." Kayura replied walking to them. "Man, Katie, how'd you do that?" Shu asked shouldering a weak Shin. "I don't really know. I figured that since I was able to use your sure kills, I might be able to you theirs, but I wasn't expecting that to happen." Katie explained. "I thought that they might of switched back to the other side when I saw their sure kills heading to you." Seiji said tossing his hair from his face. "Well, now we know how they're going to help the kikkote when we attack the Master." Touma said shouldering Ryo, who was now awake. "Let's go inside, I think we've had enough practice for the day." Anubus said heading for the house. Matt helped Katie up, and Katie leaned on him for support as they walked to the house.

"Erika, Makoto, Seth, Mike, Jun, Ami" Katie yelled. After a few minuets nobody came. "Where are they?" Katie asked. "They're not in the basement" reported Seiji. "And they're not upstairs." Nazza said from the second floor. Just then Bayakuen came from one of the rooms, his fur matted with blood, carrying something. "Bayakuen, where are the kids?" Katie asked worried. Matt took the paper Bayakuen was carrying, "This is bad." "Matt, what is it?" Katie said grabbing the peice of paper. "They have the kids." Matt said. Katie sank to the floor still holding the note, reading it over and over. Bayakuen walked over to Katie and rubbed his head to hers. Katie hugged him and cryed into his soft fur. "What are we going to do now?" Shu asked, "We can't just go storm into the City with the kids there, we could hurt them." The house remained quiet. In everybody's minds they could hear the kids laughing and playing, but in reality all that could be heard was a muffled cry from the floor as Katie sat crying into Bayakuen.
