Warrior of Justice?

"Then we thought that all the trouble was over." Ryo commented.
"Yea, we didn't know about Kento's little problem." Rowen added.
"I'm sorry, you were involved." Kento said looking down.
"Kento, the only thing we're mad about is that you never said anything in the first place." Sage replied.....

In the house all was quiet. It had been a month since the battle. Katie was back in Japan, but not on good terms with her family. On a normal day, just like any of the others since the battle, Kento was in the kitchen eating, Sage was out meditating, Ryo was out playing with Yuli, Rowen was in his room reading, Mia was in the den working, and Cye and Katie stayed by each others side.  On this particular day they were in the living room watching a movie. They were enjoying each other more then the movie. Katie nudged closer to Cye and he inturn hugged her tighter.  Suddenly a crash was heard from the kitchen and Kento swearing.
"How many is that now?" Katie asked sighing.
"I think 12. why?" Cye asked looking at her.
"I'm just worried about him. Ever sence he got that call from his Mom, he hasn't left the kitchen and has been droping dishes left and right." Katie said looking toward the kitchen.
"I know. I am too. I just wish I knew what happened. What did his Mother say to him?" Cye asked thinking about what had happened a few days ago.

"Kento! Phone!!" Cye yelled out into the back yard where he was sparring with Rowen.
"K! Comming" Kento hollored back, "Who is it?"
"I don't know." Cye said shrugging, "It's a woman if that helps." Kento just looked at him weird and picked up the phone.
"Hello? Kento here." Kento started, "Wha... Mama!.........But, it couldn't......Mama, no..... It's immpossible....... WHAT!!.... How could you...... When..... *sighs*..... Good bye Mama." And with that he slammed down the phone and stormed into the kitchen. Cye and Katie watched on.
"What was that all about?" Katie asked looking at Cye.
"I have no idea." Cye replied. Katie stood up and walked into the kitchen with Cye following.
"Kento, what was that all about?" Katie asked walking up to him.
"Nothing." Kento snapped as he shoved an apple in his mouth.
"Kento, if you talk about it it'll help." Cye said moving over to where he was. Kento immedently turned around and punched Cye in the jaw.
"I said I don't want to talk about it so LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!" Katie helped Cye up and took him to the bathroom to check on his jaw.

Cye and Katie stared at the kitchen as another dish met the floor.
"Cye, do you think?" Katie looked at Cye.
    "What?" Cye asked.
    "That his rep..." Katie continued
"You mean... ,but he's been here." Cye replied
"Yea, but remember on the phone he said that something was immpossible." Katie reminded him.
"I did promise to help him clear it, but I'm not sure how to go about it." Cye said finally looking at Katie.
"I promised too." Katie said standing up.
"What are you going to do?" Cye asked looking up at her.
"I'm going to find out what is going on right now." Katie replied walking toward the kitchen.

Katie peeked in the door. Kento was leaning over the counter stuffing the last of the bread in his mouth. Katie slowly made her way over to him. As she got closer she noticed that he was shaking.
"Kento..." Katie said softly not wanting to scare him. Kento quickly reached up and wiped his face.
"W.what do you want?" He asked. Katie leaned over closer to him.
"Kento, are you all right?" She asked putting her hand on his shoulder.
"I'm fine." He repied turning his head the other way.
"Kento, please. I want to help." Katie said as she tried to turn his head toward her, but he slapped her hand away.
"I don't need you help. There's nothing you can do." Kento replied.  Katie had finally gotten sick of hearing it. She grabbed his chin forcing his face toward her. She did not expect what she saw. His face was stained with tears. His eyes were full of hurt and hatred. Even when he had poured his heart out to her he didn't look like this. He jurked his face away looking down.
    "Kento, what happened?" Katie demanded.
"Nothing" he yelled back. Katie dragged him over to the table and made him sit down. She sat down next to him.
"Kento, I'm not going to sit around any more. I'm worried about you. What happened." Katie demaned again looking into his eyes. Kento looked back and sighed.
"Remeber those two girls that kept saying that I beat them up?" Kento asked.
    "Yea, why?"
    "The....they're.. Dead." Kento replied shakedly.
"WHAT?!" Katie yelled her eyes going wide. Cye had heard it and finally came in the kitchen.
"Kento what happened?" Cye asked sitting on the other side if him.
"I'm not sure. They had found them dead. I'm atomaticly a suspect since I had been convicted of beating them." Kento explained.
"But it couldn't of been you. You've been here the  whole time." Cye stated.
"It happened a week ago." Kento started, "Remeber when  we went into town to get some grocieres and stuff?"
    "Yea, so?" Katie asked.
"That is when it happened. I wasn't around you guys. I had gone off to find something to eat."
"Oh, Kento." Katie replied looking down.
"What's that got to do with anything?" Cye asked not realy realizing what was wrong.
"Cye, he didn't have an aliby. There isn't anyone that could tell exacactly where he was at the time of the murder." Katie explained.
"Mama, has pretty much banned me from ever stepping into the resturant again. She told me that she no longer has a son." Kento said as he started to cry again.
"Cye, go get the keys." Katie instucted.
    "Why?"
"We're going to China Town." Cye and Kento looked up at her in surprise.
"Do you have a plan?" Cye asked as he stood up.
"Not really. I'll try to think of one on the way there." Katie said as she helped Kento up. Cye ran up to the den to get the keys as Katie and Kento headed out to the car.

A few hours and a train ride later they walked into China Town. As they walked down one of the streets several of the residents stoped what they were doing and started mumbling stuff in Chinese.
"Kento, what are they saying?" Katie asked.
"Stuff like, Why is he here, Why has he come back, He had the nerve to even come near here." Kento answered.
"Oh, wish I never of asked." Katie replied, "Ok, Kento do you know anyone that looks the slightest bit like you?" Kento looked up into the air as he thought.
"No, noone I can remeber." He answered.
"Ok, where do most of the kids and teens hang out?" Katie asked trying to figure out where to start.
"I know, but I'm not even going to go near that place. They'd tear me apart." Kento replied.
"Ok, me and Katie will go. Tell us where it's at and we'll meet you at the Marina when we're done. K?" Cye suggested.
"K, but please becarful." Kento said as he started off  down an alley, "Go down this alley two blocks, and turn right. There's a big vacent lot. It's where everyone hangs out."
"Alright. You go ahead to the Marina." Katie said as she and Cye headed down the alley. Kento turned around and headed towared the Marina.

Katie and Cye slowly walked down the alley to where Kento had told them to go. They came apon a lot that had old playground equipment in it. There were little kids who were being watched by some teenagers. One of the teens saw the two approach and walked up to them.
"Hey, are you lost or somethin?" He asked walking up to them.
"Umm, I don't think so." Katie replied the guy looked at her surprised, "Is this where you all hang out at?"
    "Uh, yea, why?" He asked.
"I just wanted to aske you some quetions." Katie responded.
"Questions about what?" the guy asked eyeing her.
"Questions about a certian person." Katie said eyeing him back.
"Hey, I know who that is." A girl said walking up be hind the first boy, "She's that girl that was walking with the Fuan jerk a while back" The first boy eyed her again.
"Is that true? Cause if it is you better becarfull around him." The boy warned
"It is true. Kento is my best friend. I trust him with my life." Katie replied.
"That's a funney thing to say after he killed a couple of girls." another boy said walking up to them.
"He didn't" Cye said finally speaking up.
    "What?" The first boy asked.
"Kento would never do anything like that." Cye replied.
    "And how would you know?"
"He is my best friend too. I know him. He wouldn't do anything to hurt another person." Cye said sternely.
"HEY! Hey!" A small girl yelled running up to them, "I just say Fuan walking down the stree toward the Marina."
"So, he's here?" the first boy asked looking back as Katie and Cye.
    "Yes, he is." Cye answered.
"We are here to clear his name." Katie added.
"Clear his name of what?" the girl asked
"Oh, just the battery, theft, and murder." Katie replied.
"Good Luck. As far as I know, he has or ever has had an aliby for any of them." The first boy replied.
"Do you know him?" Katie asked.
"What do you mean do I know him?" the boy asked.
"Do you know him? have you ever talked to him. Gone out and done somthing with him. Hung out with him?" Katie clarified.
"Why would I do something like that?" he asked.
"I don't know. It was just a question." Katie replied.
"What are you doing?" Cye whispered into Katie's ear.
"I don't know?" Katie whispered back. Cye looked at her in surprise, "Do any of your families own reastruants too?"
"Mine does, why?" The first boy replied.
"Is it the best reastruant in China Town?" Katie asked.
"No, everyone know's it's the Fuan restruant." the girl behind him replied. The first boy turned his head and snarled at the girl, "Sorry." She wimpered as she walked back to where the others were.
"Are you done with this. Cause if you are, I'd apprecatie it if you would lean NOW" the first boy yelled.
"Yes, we are done. Thank you for your help." Katie said as she walked off.
"Katie, what was that all about?" Cye asked as they got far enought away.
"I don't know. But it was fun." Katie replied smiling, "I'm joking. I was trying to see if any of them had a reason for wanting to set him up."
"Do you think that kid did?" Cye asked
"I don't know, but I'm going to try and find out more about him." Katie replied as they headed toward the Marina.

They found Kento leaning on the rails looking out at the bay.
"Kento." Katie said getting his attention.
"Oh, your back. What happened?" Kento asked looking back out at the bay.
"Kento, I need you help. There was this one guy that seemed to be the dominant person in the group." Katie started.
"That's Yang" Kento stated, "He moved in when this whole mess started. His parents also own a restruant. They get the overflow from Mama's."
"Cye, are you hungry?" Katie asked looking at Cye.
"Hungry?! We just ate a couple of hours ago." Cye said.
"Cye, I ment that we go visit this resturant." Katie said pinching him in the side.
"Ow, oh, yea. Sorry. What about Kento?" Cye asked looking over to his friend.
"I'll find somthing here. You go on." Kento said as he headed over to where a line of food stands were. Katie followed him over.
"Come on Katie. I think I konw where it is." Cye said as he started away. Katie caught up with him and they walked together holding hands.

In the restruant they were seated and handed some menues. In the kitchen Yang was looking out the door.
"Mother, come look." Yang said as he motioned her over to the door.
"What is it?" She asked as she joined him at the door.
"See those two over there." He said pointing, "They're the ones askeing about Fuan."
"A gaijin and a japanese boy?" She questioned.
"Yea, they acted like they were best friends with him." Yang continued, "They said they were trying to clear his name."
"That is not good. I heard he was here today. It'll be a good day for one of the local shops to be robbed." Yang nodded and walked out of the kitchen via the back door.

Meanwhile, Katie and CYe had been served their food. Katie took a sip of her Ramen and looked down at it puzzled.
"What's wrong?" Cye asked noticing her puzzled look.
"I don't know. It takes weird." Katie replied.
"It's probably the addition or lack of a seasoning." Cye commented.
"Yea, I think your right." Katie said as she started eating it.
"Do you have any clue how to accually go about and clear his name?" Cye asked as he ate some fried rice.
"The easist and hardest way would be to find the guy that accually did it and get him to confess." Katie said.
"That's probably the only way too. But where do we start?"
"I don't have the slightedt idea." Katie replied. Two figures stopped next to the table. Katie and Cye looked up to find two policemen.
"Are you two friends with a Kento Fuan?" one of them asked.
"Yes, we are. What's the matter?" Cye asked.
"Your friend has been charged with theft, and has been taken to jail" The officer replied. Katie and Cye looked at him in shock.
