Chapter 2

"They are all asleep." Kayura stated as she walked into the living room carrying a tray of tea.

"What am I going to do, Kayura?" Sarah asked from where he was cuddled up in the chair.
"I'm afraid you are at his mercy, Sarah."  Kayura replied handing her a cup.
"So, all I can do is go back there tomorrow and see what he wants of me." Sarah stated taking a sip.
"Your future is in his hands now.  Until you can find out where he has taken them, and find a way there, you'll just have to play along."  Sarah sat there and thought about it for a bit.  Setting her cup down she stood up and moved to leave the room, "Sarah?" Kayura questioned, wondering what was on her mind all of the sudden.
"Touma had something he stored down in the basement.  He wouldn't tell me what it was, but told me that if they were ever captured, and I was the only one left... to go look." Sarah replied leaving the room.  She walked slowly down the steps to the hard cement floor and looked around at the boxes and workout equipment. 'Where could he have put it?  And what is it???' Sarah wondered as she moved some boxes and looked through others.  "This will take forever."  She had made her way to the back of the basement where some of the larger boxes sat.  She looked into one of the smaller boxes on top when she noticed a small box on the floor.  Wondering if it might be what Touma was talking about she picked it up and opened it.  "A first aid kit???"  Was this what Touma wanted her to see?  She picked it up and looked around her.  Her sight caught the limp punching bag in the corner.  She knew Shu came down here a lot and she thought it was to punch his bag, but he couldn't punch this.  As she moved closer she saw that there was something behind the bag, something more then just the shadow.  She pushed the it to the side and saw where the dried blood stained the wall.
"Sarah, what are you doing?" Someone asked as they walked down the stairs.  Sarah quickly let go of the bag and turned around to see who it was.
    "Ah, Kayura!" Sarah exclaimed
"Are you all right?" Kayura asked walking over to where Sarah stood nervously.
    "Yea... Yea, I'm fine!"
"You don't look too fine.  What did you find down here?"
"I'm not sure." Sarah moved aside the bag to show Kayura the spot on the wall.  Kayura sighed and called the Shakujo to her hand.
"I will replay what last happened here." She announced as she raised the staff into the air.  The area around the blood grew dark and two voices invaded the silence.
"It's Touma! And... and Shu, he's... He's crying..." Sarah stated looking at the spot making the connection, "but why?"
"That I cannot answer.  This seems to be what Tenku wished you to see though." Kayura replied.
"Ne-chan?" Ami asked from the top of the stairs.
"Ami! what are you doing up?" Sarah asked as she hurried up to her.
"I couldn't sleep."  Ami replied as she allowed Sarah to pick her up.
"A nightmare?" Sarah asked as she carried her to her bedroom followed by Kayura.
"I... I was afraid you wouldn't be here when I got up in the morning." Ami replied as she held Sarah tightly.
"Shh... You know I have to go back in town in the morning."
"But what if you don't come back?"
"If I don't go, then how will the others be able to come back?" Sarah asked looking into her eyes, "Don't worry, Kayura will be here to watch you."
    "Will Byakuen be with you?"
"Would that make you feel better?" Ami nodded, "Then I will take Byakuen with me."
"Come Ami.  You must sleep.  Sarah is on her way to bed too." Kayura stated walking forward to help Sarah unleash the hold Ami had on her.
"I'll come and say good-bye before I leave.  I promise."  Sarah swore as she watched Kayura tuck Ami in.

"Nee-san, you will be careful won't you?" Erika asked as Sarah readied herself for her trek into the city.
"I promise.  Byakuen will be with me." sarah replied gesturing to the tiger that laid on the floor.
"It is time to go, Sarah." Kayura stated looking out the door at the raining weather.
"Come back, with the guys." Seth stated from the door to the kitchen.
"I will.  Come Byakuen." Sarah stated as she left for the city.

Sarah appeared back in the shadow of the Tokyo Tower.  Once a landmark, then her home, was now nothing.  Byakuen busied himself sniffing the area, faint traces of his charges were left but not much else.  Sarah just stood there, the events of the previous night clear in her head.
"I see you actually came back." a voice echoed through the air.
"And why wouldn't I? You have my family, and I want them back!" Sarah exclaimed.
"Family, Eh? You want your family come and find them!" The voice laughed causing Byakuen to growl, "To get to me, you must find the weapons of your family." Before Sarah could ask any questions the voice was gone.  Before her and Byakuen a swirling vortex appeared.
"Our fate is in his hands." Sarah stated as she disappeared in the portal.

Deep within the dungeons of the Warriors' castle was a girl who refused to be his bride.  She was the last of her people that remained loyal and alive.  By keeping her alive he found it fun to torture her mentally with his games.  She was once a princess, but now nothing more then a pet.
She sat in her cell awaiting the next game the Warrior would play.  She stood when the door opened, surprised already who long it had been since his last game, but instead of the dungeon master several soldiers appeared carrying limp forms.  One by one they were thrown on the floor.  The door closed and then reopened just enough for a few bowls of rotting food.
Tsuyu looked around her at the bodies.  They were male, and injured, they they were alive. Now she had two options, she could ravish them all since they were the cutest guys she had seen since her imprisonment, or she could help them.  Her morals were too strong for the first so she picked the later.
Using the straw that layered the floor she created a sort of bed, one for all nine bodies.  She drug them over to their beds and then turned her concerns to their wounds.  She didn't have proper bandages, and her own clothes where shrinking from that purpose.  Six seemed to be wearing pants and tops while the remaining three had on elegant robes of some sort.  Since they were the least injured she'd worry about them later.  She turned her concerns to the one who looked as if he had been injured and treated and then injured again, at least his hands looked that way.  She tore his shirt off reveling a wall of muscle.  Tsuyu found herself blushing a bit.  She tore his shirt into strips.  In the corner of the cell sat a bucket that she collected the rain water that fell from the window above.  She used the water to wash the dried dirt and blood that was on his skin and then bandaged his wounds as best she could.  She then repeated the process with the others.  Once that was done she placed the bowls of food before each one so they could eat once they were awake.  Tsuyu then ate her own food and waited.

All he could feel was a slight throb in his head, the kind that was intense enough to warrant notice, but not strong enough to use drugs on.  Ryo opened his eyes cautiously not knowing what he was going to find.  The area around him was almost completely dark.  He could make out lumps on the floor but not much else.  Looking down at himself he found that the very bottom of his shirt had been torn off and wrapped around his hands where his katana's had been blasted away.  They weren't badly burnt, just a mild injury, he could still use them.  Just in front of him he noticed a bowl, a bowl that was filled with the most disgusting thing in the world.  He wasn't sure if it was food or what.  He looked again at the lumps and noticed that there were nine lumps not counting himself.  He wondered if Sarah had indeed been caught.  Standing up her walked over to the smallest figure to find, to his relief, that is was not Sarah, but a small girl.  He quickly swept over to the others to see how their injuries where.  Most everyone seemed fine, but Shu was badly injured.  The blast into the wall in sub armor must of hurt him.  He sat back down where he had woke up and took the bowl in his hands.  Who knew when he would be able to eat next, and if he let this sit any longer it would only get worse.  He poked at it with his finger to make sure it wasn't going to jump up and suddenly be angry about being someone's meal.  When the stuff didn't move, Ryo figured he might as well try it.  He remembered something Shin had told him about holding his nose to make medicine taste better on the way down, maybe it would work here.  He held his nose tightly as if the pressure would make the difference, then with the other hand he scooped some of it up and shoved it in his mouth.  He found it was some sort of fruit, rotten, but still fruit.
Slowly the others started to wake up all feeling the same throbbing Ryo had.
"Where are we?" Rajura asked as he held his head.
"I don't know." Ryo replied as he notice Touma sniff at the bowl, "You can eat it Touma, it's rotten fruit.  But it's food."
"I guess there's no use trying for room services is there?" Shin asked trying to lighten to mood, but got confused looks from the Masho.
"One thing we need to find out, is who she is." Ryo motioned to the girl that lay still asleep.
"I think we should at least let her sleep.  It seems she was the one that bandaged us up." Seiji stated looking down at his own hand where his own NoDachi was blasted away.
"She tore my favorite kimono!" Anubisu whined looking down between his hand and his kimono.
"At least she took it from an otherwise unnoticeable spot." Rajura growled as he held up his sleeves one shorter then the other.
"Settle down, you'll wake her up." Shin hissed in their general direction.
"Has Shu woken up any?" Matt asked as he leaned over Shu who was still asleep.
"No, not that I know of.  He hit the wall pretty hard though." Ryo replied kneeling down next to his friend.
"Not to mention we were blasted out of that alley way." Touma added as he felt the bandage on his head.
