"Jason, you can't do this!" Carly screamed. Jason had just told her
that he was giving up his rights to Michael. Baby Michael the son of
Carly and A.J. Quartermaine. Before the marriage, Carly gave birth to
Michael and instead of risking her baby being taken away by the
Quartermaine's, she claimed that Jason as the father. Jason fell inlove
with the red headed, cute as a button, bundle of joy and didn't want to
lose him. When A.J. found out Michael's true paternity, he fought for
custody and Carly agreed to marry him, in order to raise Michael right.
The two shared joint custody with Jason.
"I can and I have. I HAVE NO LEGAL RIGHTS TO HIM! This will be the
last time you see me here, Carly." Jason told her.
"But Jason…" Carly said with tear filled eyes.
"Carly, stop! I told you what I have done and your crying will not
change anything. So please, I want to see Michael and say goodbye."
Carly called the nanny into the room, and with her came Baby Michael.
His red curls framed his face and a pacifier occupied his mouth. Jason
took Michael outside near the pool, where he could say goodbye in
private.

"Are you sure you don't want to go to Emily's?" Brenna asked Juan.
Juan lay on the bed in their room.
"I am sure. I am tired, I am hoping to get some sleep while my loud
mouthed SISTER is gone." He grinned at Brenna.
"Well you just be like that then, Mr. Anti-sociable!" Brenna laughed.
"I will try not to have too much fun without you." Brenna gave a
little wave and left the room.

Jason has said his goodbye to Michael and handed him over to Carly
without hesitation. Now he lingered by the pool, not really wanting to
leave Michael.
"Oh, Jason, hey!" Emily said as she and Nikolas came up to him. "Hey
Jason have you seen Brenna?" Jason's heart skipped a beat at the
mention of her name.
"Nope, why?"
"Well she should be here soon, we are going to go for a swim. But Liz
just called and said that Audrey left and she has no way here. So if
Brenna gets here before we get back, please tell her to wait and that we
won't be long." Jason nodded. "Thanks Jas!" Emily and Nikolas left
for Nik's Jag parked out front.
Jason remembered Brenna and how she openly flirted with him. He was
intrigued by her and he knew it was wrong. But the way she smiled at
him, and tossed her jet black hair over her shoulder's was fascinating
to him. And the red streaks that were in her hair, made her absolutely
irresistible.
"Well, I never expected to see you here." A female's voice said from
behind him. Jason turned to see Brenna standing there. She wore a pair
of short shorts and a sleeveless crop top over a black bathing suit.
Jason smiled.
"Emily said she and Nikolas would be back soon, they had to go pick up
Elizabeth."
"Oh darn, I guess that means you have to stay here and keep me company
then, huh?" Brenna smiled, delighted with the idea. He wore a black
shirt, that was tight enough to see that he had a very nice body. She
wanted him, and she always got what she wanted. "So what brings you to
the Quartermaine's? I heard that you disowned them or something."
"It a long story really. I don't want to get into it. Maybe I will
explain it sometime." Jason told her, locking his eyes with hers.
"All right, fair enough." Brenna then thought of a more interesting
question. "So are you seeing anyone?" Jason's eyes widened, but he
still didn't look away.
"You mean, do I have a girlfriend?" Brenna nodded. "Nope, why?"
Brenna smiled.
"Because I was afraid if you did, she might get mad if I kissed you."
Brenna stepped closer to him.
"Kiss me?" He asked.
"Well if you insist." Brenna brought her hands to rest on the back of
his neck as she kissed him gently. He slid his hands down her back to
her waist as he eagerly returned the kiss.
As the two people shared the intimate moment, an unknown figure lurked
in the bushes unseen by Brenna and Jason. Jason reluctantly pulled
away from Brenna.
"We can't do this." Jason said. "It's wrong."
"Wrong?" Brenna asked. She didn't think it was wrong at all.
"I shouldn't have kissed you." He said looking her in the eye. She
leaned closer to him.
"You didn't kiss me. I kissed you."
"And I kissed you back…I didn't have to, I could have turned away."
"But you didn't, you kissed me, because you wanted to. Admit it Jason."
"It was still wrong and it wont happen again." He told her.
"Jason…" She started.
"Hey! Bren!" Emily and Lizzie said cheerily as the two girls and
Nikolas came into view.
"Hey guys!" Brenna said excitedly, even though she was more than
disappointed at the moment they chose to show up.
"Hey Jason, what are you still doing here?" Emily asked, then realized
that sounded rude. "I mean, I figured you would have gone by now."
"He stayed to keep me company while I waited for you three." Brenna
said smiling at Jason. "Isn't that sweet?"
"Well I didn't want her to have to deal with the Quartermaines if they
caught her out here by herself." Jason lied.
"Thanks Jas." Emily said smiling.
"No problem. Well I really should be going now. I'll see you guys
later." He said glancing at Brenna. With that Jason left.
The four friends continued in their plans for a swim in the
Quartermaine pool. They had a wonderful time, splashing and laughing
for hours. Afterwards, Monica invited them in for tea and cake.

Dr. Richard Johnson stepped into Kelly's diner with a smile on his face. He wore
a hunter green polo shirt tucked into khaki pants. He had a medium build with sun
streaked blond hair. He smiled as he saw the person he was dining with. Mr.
Theodore Murty, an English Teacher at Port Charles High School. He joined him at
the table he occupied.
"Did you have a nice day at work?" Mr. Murty asked his dinner companion and
roommate.
"Oh yes, it was super." He replied in a an unusually high voice.
As their conversation continued, Juan Santiago made his way down the stairs that
led up to the rented rooms.
"Juan, hey could you get that table for me? I have some business to take care
of." Tammy called from behind the counter. She held the phone in one hand and a
pen in the other.
"Sure." Juan told her. He went behind the counter and retrieved a notepad and
pencil before proceeding to take the customers orders. "What can I get you?"
Juan asked politely. Richard and Theodore studied the menu for a moment before
ordering. Juan took down their order and reported it to the cook in the kitchen.
As he was leaving the kitchen, a new customer came in. He was tall, dark and
very well built. He approached Tammy who gave him the 'hold on' signal. After
yelling through the phone at someone, Tammy slammed the receiver down.
"Can I help you Sonny?" Tammy asked. Juan looked up, hearing the name.
"You wern't busy were you?" Sonny Corinthos asked, gesturing towards the phone.
"No, I was just reordering some supplies I ordered last week that I should have
gotten today! The man on the phone was very rude!"
"Want me to have him…take care of?" Sonny smiled, showing his adorable dimples.
Tammy laughed.
"What can I do for you Sonny?"
"Have you seen Jason, today?"
"He hasn't been in here today." Tammy informed him.
"He was supposed to meet me at Luke's thirty minutes ago, but he never showed, so
I stopped by here."
"I haven't seen him and I've been here all day."
"Well, I'll just check Luke's one more time." Sonny smiled courteously.
"If I see him, I'll let him know you're looking for him."
"Thank you." Sonny said before leaving the diner.
Juan watched him leave, then turned to Tammy.
"Do you need me anymore tonight? I need to go…find…my sister."
"Go, on, I've got everything under control." Juan nodded and then left the
diner. He had no intention of looking for Brenna. He wanted to talk to Sonny,
his father.
Juan made his way to Luke's, a place he had been to only once before. He hurried
along, hoping Sonny would still be there. When he arrived, Sonny was standing at
the bar, talking to a tall blond man with a cigar. Juan didn't know what he was
doing there. What was he going to do, walk up to him and say, "So how ya been
dad?" Juan stood there trying to figure out a way to approach Sonny.
Sonny received a call on his cell phone and ordered a drink before seating
himself at a vacant table. One of Luke's waiters was about to deliver Sonny's
order to him when Juan quickly approached the bar.
"Is that for Mr. Corinthos?" Juan asked. The waiter nodded. "I'll take it to
him, I'll be joining his table tonight." Bad lie, Juan thought, but the waiter
bought it. Juan grabbed the glass, glistening with moisture and brought it to
Sonny. He stood, glass in hand, until Sonny looked up at him. Juan immediately
placed the glass on the table before Sonny. As he brought his hand back, the
glass was knocked over. Cool liquid flowed over the table as Sonny jumped up
quickly. Juan grabbed some napkins and began soaking up the liquid. " I am so
sorry. I am clumsy." Juan said embarrassed. As he leaned over the table a gold
necklace slid from under his shirt. Sonny stared at the golden pendant on the
necklace. He recognized it from his past.
"Where'd you get that necklace?" Sonny asked. Juan stopped and looked at him.
Sonny's face changed. "Where did you get it?" Sonny demanded.
"It's mine." Juan whispered.
"That was my wife's necklace, where did you get it?"
"You gave it to me." Juan finally said. Sonny's eyes widened, as he finally
realized who this kid was. He looked at the pendant then at the face of the boy.
* Flashback *
Sonny Corinthos stood on the porch of a family in Puerto Rico. The mother and
father stood off to the side as a three year-old boy approached him. His dark
features matched Sonny's. From his dark curls, to his deep brown eyes that were
stained with tears. The little boy, was scared and saddened by the news this
stranger had brought him. His mother was gone, her life taken by another. He
wasn't sure how to feel, because the only mother he had ever known stood less
than four feet behind him, and yet this man was telling him, his mother was
dead. However seeing Sonny, cry made him sad, it scared him. Sonny knelt down
and pulled a gold chain from his pocket. A classy gold cross pendant dangled
from it.
"This was your mother's. I feel as though she'd want you to have it. She
loves you and so do I. If you ever need anything, look ,me up." Sonny placed the
chain over the child's head. He looked up at Sonny, his innocent eyes open wide.
* End Flashback *
"Juan." Sonny finally said. Juan nodded.

Brenna had been upstairs and she noticed Juan wasn't there. She went downstairs
to see if he was working.
"Where's Juan?" She asked Tammy.
"He left a few minutes ago. He didn't say where he was going." Brenna thanked
Tammy and left for her room. She wasn't worried, she was just curious. Where
was he? What's he doing? And with who? I'll ask when he gets home. She
thought. She sprawled out on the bed and thought about Jason. He was so cute!
She jumped up off the bed.
"I kissed him." She said out loud. "I kissed him! Oh my God!" She screamed like
a teeny bopper at a Backstreet Boys concert. She laughed at herself for being so
stupid.
