The prime tenet in the philosophy of the Soselian monks is "balance in all things". They believe that spiritual perfection can only be achieved by transcending one's natural tendency to view life as an either/or proposition and thus bringing every facet of one's being into harmony with the greater universe. It was with this in mind that the Twilight Knights were formed.

The Gods and their servants view the Retroverse as a prison and wage a desperate war of attrition in search of escape. We have come to see it as the learning experience it was truly meant to be.

Good. Evil. These things ultimately mean nothing. There is only existence and what you do with it. While others choose sides and fight the Gods' struggles for them, we have decided that our gifts are best served by getting the most out of out time here. To this end, we seek experience in all of its variety. By bringing together beings of all races and professions, regardless of traditional rivalries, we hope to taste all that the Retroverse has to offer.

Like the twilight we adopted as our namesake, we stand astride light and darkness and become something greater than both.
