EXAMPLE 10 CARD CELTIC CROSS TAROT SPREAD
The card representing you and what you seek an answer for in this reading is the Eight of Wands Up: It represents that you want to Proceed quickly towards a certain victory. You have been aiming toward an objective, and you hope its    destination is near. Ideas, dreams, expectations and aspirations are rapidly on their way to becoming reality. Very appropriate card... shows me this reading will be accurate
Card 2 represents your question, what you wish to accomplish, or can represent a dilema or obstacle your looking to overcome. It is the Star Up: Your dreams and goals are becoming reality. Your future is so bright you need sunglasses.    The Star indicates that you are wanting to follow your dream through the pursuit of your natural talents with hope, confidence, enthusiasm and dedication. Your goals are inspired, your aspirations are blessed.
Card 3 is the crowning card. In this position it represents what you are working towards and most likely outcome if you stick to your plan and carry it out to the end. The Knight of Wands Reversed: This card indicates that there are changes, disruptions and unstable circumstances in your life. The literal meanings for this card are rupture, division, interruption, and discord. This tells me you want a divorce and you are waiting for the other man to be available first.
Card 4 is the foundation card. Represents your life experiences concerning love and relationships from the past. I call this the "been there done that" position. Yours is the Hanged Man Reversed. When this card is right side up, it indicates making a sacrifice today in order to attain something better in the future. When the card is reversed like this, it indicates that you want to enjoy life here and now, and don't want to make a sacrifice like that. The result may be that you get immediate gratification, but the fact that you will not make this sacrifice will prevent the improved conditions in the future from    coming to pass. This card shows me that you have sacrificed your personal happiness for the sake of the kids and your husband. Now its time to do things for YOU!!   
Card 5 is the card representing what will soon pass or no longer be an issue.  Can represent accomplishing a goal or resolving an issue. Yours is the Four of Swords Up: Meditation and introspection. This card indicates that your mind    is in need of rest from your difficulties and battles, and this is time is needed for prayer and meditation to raise your consciousness to a higher plane. This is a time for rest, and to revise your plan of attack.
Card 6 is the card representing the current that is coming into action and will operate in the specific matter concerning the entire spread. Nine of Swords Up: A lot of emotional distress. You may be experiencing a failure or feel that such a failure is certain, and you suffer a great deal of mental anguish as a result. You may have feelings of guilt, depression, anxieties, or paranoia--often inflicted by a cruel person in your life.
Card 7 How you feel about the situation, your attitude and relation to the matter. Page of Swords Down: Both the upright and reversed positions of this card carry the interpretation of discovering unexpected news of an upsetting nature. You may stumble upon the information as the result of some type of detective work, snooping around, or spying on your part. Your suspicions may be confirmed.   
Card 8 What is influencing you at this time. Your environment , the influences around you. Can be influences of personal emotions, people or even events. Sun Reversed: In the upside down position, The Sun has the same interpretation    as its other position--yet there is some person who "rains on your parade," or some aspect about this that spoils your victory and success so that you cannot fully enjoy it.
Card 9 Fears or Hopes. Obviously if the card is a negative one it can represent a fear, unless your wishing something negative upon a situation then it can be a hope. If the card is a positive one then it represents a Hope. Eight of    cups Down: Great joy and celebration in your social life. This is a "party" card; indicating a social time with new acquaintances and the enjoyment of life's bounty of feasting, family, friends, relationships, and parties.
Card 10 The Answer Card. In doing Tarot, the answer to a question asked or the basis of a spread is showing us what may happen if current things continue as they are.
Two cards came out together. When this happens I feel it means you are faced with a choice and there are two possible outcomes.
First outcome: 10 cups Down: You feel you may be dating or married to the wrong person. There may be romantic or marital disagreements, which can lead to disobedience and defiance. Relationships may fail, or there may be discontentment, lack of fulfillment, and quarrel-filled circumstances.
Ace of Wands Up: You have so many creative ideas that you don't have time to do them all. This card represents the beginning of an idea, enterprise, ambition, desire or goal. This indicates the beginning of a situation in which you feel    a natural sense of enthusiasm, initiative, energy and courage.
Ok, my interpretation of this whole situation is that you need to decide if you want a divorce. It seems that is the decision to make. It also seems that if you do divorce this other man will be in your life... seems the other woman doesnt matter...... as long as you are available and not married.
Study the cards that show where you are needing to change or improve upon a situation, also where healing may be needed regarding the past. As in all things the future can be changed... it is up to us to make the right choices.    The future is determined by our actions and reactions (or lack there of..) to any given circumstance.
