While on holiday with current bed warmer, Chloe Morgan, Jasper Jacks saw a dark-haired woman walking in the garden. Although there must be at least a million dark-haired women walking around, Jax was convinced it was his Brender come back from the dead. But when he investigated he came up with nothing and decided to keep what he was thinking from Chloe.

After the Gia indentified Zander as the man who she saw at the motel the night Dead Ted was killed, the Scooby-Doo Gang rushed to save LipGloss Liz who was chatting him up. Then they left Gia at the Rave to fend for herself. Lucky for her she knows how to take care of herself, because the suspected killer, Zander, remembered seeing her at the motel that night, as well. Having no Lucky or Nikolas to ride to her rescue like LipGloss Liz did, she faked being stoned and made a fast getaway. However, when she confronted The Gang for answers about what they had got her involved in, they gave her the brush-off, not caring she could be Zander's next victim. The next day The Gang reluctantly agreed to fill Gia in so she could protect herself.

At the Rave Nik's words seemed to be proven true as LipGloss started coming on the Zander the suspected killer and even downed one of his drugged drinks.
