CHAPTER TWENTY
SONNY’S BEDROOM, THE PENTHOUSE:
Carly(as Sonny crawls back in bed with her)Where did you go? I missed you when I woke-up and didn’t feel your body curled up against mine.
Sonny: Roy dropped by and we talked for awhile.
Carly: What do I have to do to get rid of him? Put up a no-pest strip?
Sonny: Carly, I like Roy. He’s a good guy.
Carly: He also has an annoying tendency to drag you into his messes. (Sonny starts laughing)What’s so funny.
Sonny: That’s what people usually say about me. They always want people to stay away from me because they don’t want me to suck their loved-ones into the mess I laughingly refer to as my life.
Carly: I still wish you’d stay away from the guy. He’s trouble walking in a pair of tight jeans. It’s bad enough my mother’s hooked up with him.
Sonny: Carly, I don’t have very many friends anymore. I think of Roy as one of the few I have left.
Carly: So I guess that means I’m going to have to learn to put up with him. Fine, but if he drags you into anymore of his messes, he will deal with me.
THE BROWNSTONE:
Bobbie(runs into Roy’s arms the minute he comes through the door)Roy, thank god you’re home.
Roy: Bobbie, what is it? Did something go wrong between you and Cassadine.
Bobbie: Why do you say that?
Roy: Because you seem so upset.
Bobbie: No, I was just worried when I came home and you weren’t here. Everything went fine with Stefan. He was nasty to me, but that was just what I expected from him.
Roy: So is Lucas safely tucked in his bed upstairs.
Bobbie: No, I left him at Wyndemere. It was so late I didn’t want to wake him. I was thinking you could come with me when I go to pick him up in the morning.
Roy: That sounds like a good idea. I don’t like the idea of you going alone over to some secluded island to confront some guy whose been giving you a hard time lately.
Bobbie: I should have taken you with me, tonight.
Roy: He was unpleasant to you, wasn‘t he?
Bobbie(flashes back on being in bed with Stefan as he made love to her)Yes, he was horrible.
Roy: Didn’t he at least apologize to you for letting you think your son was missing.
Bobbie: Stefan doesn’t apologize to anyone. In fact, he put the blame on me.
Roy: Why that son of a....I’ve got a good mind to go over there right now and tell him exactly what I think of him. In fact, I think that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
Bobbie(grabs Roy to stop him from leaving in a panic)No, Roy, no! I don’t want you to go over there. If you do, he might make up some horrible story about me to tell you that would turn you against me.
Roy: (holds Bobbie’s face in his hands)Bobbie, don’t you know that there’s nothing he could ever say to me to ever turn me against you. I love you, babe.
Bobbie(hugs him tightly)I love you, too. You’re the only man I’ve ever loved. (she closed her eyes tightly against the image of herself wearing a lascivious smile on her face as she pulled Stefan down to her so she could feel the touch of his body against her own)Roy, make love to me! Make love to me right here. Right now.(she ripped opens his shirt and rained desperate little kisses all over his chest in a desperate attempt to wipe the memory of what she’d done with Stefan from her mind and to wipe the effects she was still feeling from Stefan’s love making from her body)Make love to me all night long.
