CHAPTER TWELVE

SONNY’S PENTHOUSE:

Carly(and Sonny enter)So, do you think Larken is going to be a problem.

Sonny: If Larken is smart, he’ll be long gone.

Carly: But he’s really been out to get you, Sonny. There seemed something almost personal about it.

Sonny: Maybe it was because I threw him through a window. Look, if he sticks around just to try and get me, then he’s more of a fool than I ever thought he was. And if he does that, Roy and I will nail him.

Carly: I don’t want you involved with Roy. Roy is trouble. Roy got you shot helping him save his skanky daughter‘s butt. My uncle is supposed to be his best buddy. He’s partners with him in his club. Let Luke help Roy nail Larken.

Sonny: That could prove a little difficult.

Carly: Why?

Sonny: Luke left town, again.

Carly: Why am I not surprised. And he wonders why his family wants nothing to do with him. What excuse does he have for leaving town this time? Is he off in search of the Holy Grail?

Sonny: I think it has something to do with what happened at Kelly’s Diner.

Carly: Just what happened at Kelly’s Diner.

Sonny: Luke and Felicia Scorpio got quarantined there together and one thing lead to another...We both know how that is.

Carly: Minnie Mouse got it on with my uncle. Little Miss Moral Majority whose always looking her nose down on me like I’m something that crawled out from under a rock cheated on her husband the police commissioner. Oh, this is great. You have no idea how superior and self-righteous she acted with me when I was involved with Tony and Jason. Do you know she testified for Tony after he kidnapped Michael and helped get him off the hook. Well, I guess it’s true. What goes around, comes around.

Sonny; Carly, you don’t have to crow about it.

Carly: You think this is crowing? This is nothing compared to what I’m going to do to her when I run into her, and I’ll make sure that I do. She was smirking her head off when my uncle called me a whore at my engagement party to AJ. Let’s see how much she smirks when I ask her how it feels to be the skankiest tramp in town. Doing it while quarantined. Eew, that’s as bad as doing it with a dead body nearby.

Sonny: Actually, I have done it with a dead body nearby, and it’s not as gross as it sounds.

Carly: You did it near a dead body.

Sonny: I buried him first.

Carly: I don’t want to know. So, how did you find out about this, anyway. Your good buddy Tammy tell you.

Sonny: It’s not like this is a secret. I didn’t tell you everything.

Carly: You mean there’s more? Do tell.

Sonny: Mac Scorpio sort of walked in on them during the act.

Carly: You’re kidding.

Sonny: No, he’s going to use that as evidence against her in his divorce case and he’s also going to use that to prove she’s an unfit mother in the custody case he‘s bringing against her. That’s why Luke left town. He thought things might go better for her if he weren’t called to testify at the divorce hearing and custody case.

Carly: You mean things got too hot for him and he left while the getting was good.

Sonny: Whatever. So now do you see why I’m the only one who can help Roy if Larken becomes a problem, again.

Carly: If Larken is such a problem, then Roy should go to the cops. I hate to break this to you, but you’re a criminal. Criminals aren’t supposed to catch other criminals. That’s what the cops are for.

Johnny(sticks his head inside the door)Tammy Carson to see you, Mr. Corinthos.

Sonny: Send her in.

Carly: That’s my cue to go up and check on Michael. We’re not finished with this conversation, yet.(she heads upstairs)

Tammy(enters in a panic)Sonny, I’m in trouble. I need your help.

Sonny: What is it?

Tammy: You remember me telling you about this guy I was involved with before I started working at the Paradise Lounge.

Sonny: You said he was abusive to you. Has he come back? I thought he was dead.

Tammy: He is, but his mother isn’t and she’s worse than he ever thought of being.

Sonny: What does his mother have to do with this.

Tammy: There was something I didn’t tell you. After he died, I found out I was pregnant with his child. Sonny, there was no way I could raise a child on my own, so I gave the kid to my sister, Paige to raise as her own. Years later my sister got cancer and died, but before she did she arranged for my daughter to be adopted by a really good family. Now my boyfriend’s mother wants to stir up trouble and wants me to go to my daughter and reveal the truth to her. She came to me this morning and practically ordered me to do it.

Sonny: Well, you got a mouth Tammy. Just tell the old bat no.

Tammy: Sonny, people don’t tell this woman no and live to regret it. Sonny, the woman who came to see me was Helena Cassadine. Sonny, she knows who my daughter is and where she lives. If I don’t do what she asks, she’s threatened to do it for me. Sonny, Emily Quartermaine is my daughter.
