CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR
SONNY’S PENTHOUSE:
Sonny(is sitting on the couch reading the paper when Carly comes in)So, how did it go with the wedding gown.
Carly: (goes and sits on his lap)Everything was going fine. Chloe had finally drawn a sketch of my perfect dress. Then AJ showed up.
Sonny: What? How did he even know you’d be there?
Carly: I think he followed me.
Sonny: Come on, Carly, isn’t that a little paranoid.
Carly: How else would he know I’d be there. Sonny, AJ’s not going away. It’s like he’s obsessed with me or something. It doesn’t matter that I divorced him, he still thinks I’m his property and I don’t think he’s going to leave me alone.
Sonny: Well, he’ll have to once you’re my wife.
Carly: What if he doesn’t. What if he starts showing up where ever I go and starts a fight with me like he did, today. Sonny, he’s like a leech who has attached himself to my skin and he won’t let go. I had to put up with him when I was married to him, but I refuse to any longer. Every time I see him I’m reminded of the fact if it wasn’t for him we’d still have our baby. Sonny, you said you were going to do something about him. When are you going to do it?
Sonny: I’m going to have AJ taken while our wedding is taking place.
Carly: What do you mean taken?
Sonny: While we’re getting married, my men will kidnap AJ and take him to an abandon warehouse on the waterfront that has no connection to me. When we get back from our honeymoon, then I’ll deal with him.
Carly: How? I want details?
Sonny: By the time we come back AJ will be going through heavy alcohol withdrawal. He’ll have the shakes. He’ll need a drink the way a junkie needs a fix. And after I make him beg for it, I’ll give him a drink and another drink and another drink. I keeping giving him some more to drink until he refuses it, then I’ll begin forcing the alcohol down his throat. I’ll make him think I’m going to keep forcing alcohol down his throat until he dies from alcohol poisoning. I’ll make him admit everything he’s done because of his mistress alcohol. All the lives he’s damaged. And when he finally cracks. When he’ll welcome death. I’ll refuse it and let him go. I’ll tell him his punishment is to live with all the damage he’s done to peoples lives and if he wants to be freed from that he’ll have to take a gun, hold it to his temple and blow out his brains, himself, because I won’t give him peace. His punishment is to live with what he’s done. Does that satisfy you.
Carly: It’s vicious, mean and cruel. Yes, it satisfies me.(she leans back against Sonny and he wraps his arms around her)But I still think it would be a lot simpler to just kill him. I just want him to go away and something tells me that even after you do this, he still isn’t going to leave us alone.
STEFAN’S ROOM, GENERAL HOSPITAL:
Stefan(as Alexis enters)Alexis, where have you been? What happened to you?
Alexis: You’re not going to believe it.
Stefan: It was Mother, wasn’t it?
Alexis: Yes, she buried me alive.
Stefan: She what!
Alexis: It’s a long story. You’re not going to believe this. She’s trying to get a kidney for you.
Stefan: Then why did she bury you alive.
Alexis: She wasn’t aware that I intended to give you one. She found out Emily Quartermaine is really Stavros’ daughter and to get Ned out of the way so she could move in for the kill, she buried me alive. She intends for Emily to give you one of hers.
Stefan: And what does Emily intend.
Alexis: No one knows. She disappeared after Helena broke the wonderful news to her that she’s a Cassadine. Ned’s out looking for her as we speak.
NURSE’S STATION:
Bobbie: Tony, is it true what I heard.
Tony: I don’t know. Just what did you hear.
Bobbie: That Alexis intends to give Stefan one of her kidneys.
Tony: It’s true. She just had the tests done. If she’s proven a match, we’ll be doing the operation as soon as possible.
Bobbie(not pleased)How wonderful for Stefan. (she walks away from Tony stewing in her own juices)Now what am I going to do. If Alexis is a match there will go my chance to free Roy. (she jabs the elevator call button)I’ve got to get a look at those test results before anyone else does.
KELLY’S DINER:
Tammy(looks up as Emily enters)Hey kiddo, what’s shaking. I thought you were with Ned and Juan on their concert tour.
Emily: I was but something happened. Tammy, you’re going to laugh when you hear this. Helena Cassadine came to me and told me you were my mother. Isn’t that the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever heard. Tammy, what aren’t you laughing. (the truth is written all over Tammy’s face, but Emily tries to deny it)It’s ridiculous, right? You’re not my mother.
Tammy: Emily...
Emily: Tammy, you’re not my mother, right?
Tammy: Emily, I never wanted you to find out.
Emily: No! You’re not my mother!
Tammy: Emily, maybe we could sit down and I could explain it all to you.
Emily: No! You’re not my mother!(she runs out of the diner before Tammy can stop her)
