CHAPTER SIX
LAURA’S HOUSE:
Laura: Not necessarily.
Bobbie:(appalled) What do you mean not necessarily. Laura, if Stefan needs a kidney transplant how can I keep quiet when Carly is the obvious donor.
Laura: Are you forgetting that there are a lot of Cassadines out there. Anyone of them could be a donor for Stefan. Alexis, for example. Who better than his sister.
Bobbie: Laura, I don’t know...
Laura: Bobbie, just think of all that Sonny and Carly have been through, lately. Do they really need Stefan Cassadine in their lives interferring with it. You saw the way he was with Nikolas. He’ll try to run Carly’s life and he’ll interfere in her relationship with Sonny. They’re just starting to pick up the pieces of their life. Why complicate things by adding Stefan to the mix.
Bobbie: But, Laura, I can’t just stand by and let Stefan die, when I can possibly prevent it from happening.
Laura: Bobbie, you can’t even be sure Carly will even be a donor match. You’ve kept quiet this long, just keep quiet a little longer until you know the situation you’re dealing with.
Bobbie: Laura, I can assure you I never intended to keep quiet for this long. When I found out Carly was my daughter I went straight to Stefan intending to tell him the truth. But first I wanted to know if he’d known the truth that Carly was my child all this time. When he cavalierly informed me he knew all along, but he never thought enough to tell me the truth, I got mad. He saw what I went through when I thought my daughter was dead. He saw how I grieved her death and he let me continue to suffer my loss when all along he could have ended my misery by simply telling me my daughter wasn’t dead, after all. That’s when I decided to get even. I decided to give him a little taste of his own medicine. I relished the thought of the day I would go to Stefan and tell him the truth just as cavalierly as he told me. I just never intended to keep it from him for this long. Unfortunately, the longer I went without telling him the truth, the less I ever wanted to tell him. God, do you have any idea how Carly’s going to react when she finds out I’ve known her father has been in the same town with her all this time but I never told her.
SONNY’S BEDROOM, THE PENTHOUSE:
Carly(enters with a big load of clothes in her arms that she dumps on her bed)Where do you want me to put these.
Sonny(opens the his closet door grandly and smiles)As you can see, I’ve made plenty of room for your things.
Carly: (glances down at how neatly his shoes are lined up)You’re much too neat. If you expect me to have a place for everything and everything for a place, you and I are going to have some major problems.
Sonny: I’ve noticed you’re not exactly organized, Oscar.
Carly: Well, it’s better than being a neat freak, Felix. Were you always like this even as a kid?
Sonny: My stepfather liked things neat and in their place. I learned it was wise to do things the way my stepfather liked them done. Now it’s become a force of habit.
Carly: Well, your stepfather’s gone and out of your life for good. You no longer have to be a neat-freak to avoid being beaten by him. You know what I’m going to do for you. I’m going to teach you how to be a slob.
Sonny: Oh, joy.
Carly: Trust me, Sonny, once you’ve tried it, you’ll never want to go back. Just like now that you’ve had a blond, you’ll never want a brunette, again.
Sonny:(started laughing)Really?
Carly: Yes, really. Why are you always laughing at me.
Sonny: Because I just can’t seem to help myself. I guess it must be the blonde thing you got going for yourself. (he looked around the room) So, how do you envision redecorating this place. Please no pinks or peach.
Carly:(shocked)You’re going to let me redecorate?
Sonny: I thought I may as well cut to the chase, since we both know you’ll do it, anyway. I’ve learned from experience that you like to mark your territory. At least this way I’ll have the illusion I gave you my permission, first.
Carly: That reminds me, just how are those scratch marks on your back healing from the last time we made love. I wouldn’t want them to completely disappear. I’ll have to think of a more indelible way to leave my mark on you. Like you said, I like to mark my territory.(with that she bounced out of the room to go and get some more of her things, leaving behind a very confused Sonny who didn‘t know quite how he felt being told he was her territory)
PORT CHARLES COUNTY JAIL:
Larken:(is laying on his cot in his cell staring at the wall when he suddenly feels like he’s being watched. He rolls over and sees a man wearing a uniform standing outside his cell)What are you doing here?
THE MAN: You didn’t think I’d desert you, did you, Johnny boy. You were there for me when I needed you most and now I’m here for you. Be on the ready. I’m busting you out of here, boy. They’re planning to send you off to the state pen in a few days time. That’s when we’ll make our move. I’ll pull the same stunt to break you out as Corinthos did when DeLucca was being transported. Then you and I have some scores to settle, don‘t we, boy?
Larken(smiled)Yeah, we do. Starting with Sonny Corinthos and Roy DeLucca.
