CHAPTER FIFTY-TWO

OUTSIDE QUEEN OF ANGELS CHURCH:

Tammy: I’m gonna die? And whose going to kill me? You. Come on, old lady, take your best shot. I’ll pound you into the ground.

Helena; You’re one, tough street-bitch aren’t you, Ms. Carson. (Helena smiles as Andreas begins to move up behind Tammy)

Tammy: You bet I am. The day hasn’t come that I can’t take some fur-wearing Leona Helmsley wannabe and win. You take your best shot, old woman, then I’ll take mine. (Andreas grabs her from behind).

CHAPEL, QUEEN OF ANGELS CHURCH:

Stefan(grabs Alexis by the arm)Come on.

Alexis: Is it too much to hope that you’ve finally come to your senses and we’re going to leave.

Stefan: Yes, it is. We’re family. We’re not going to be stuck in the back like a couple unwelcome guests. We’re going to go and sit in the front pew where the family sits.

Alexis: Stefan, you don’t even know that you are family. It’s just a supposition on your part.

Stefan: The more time that goes by, the more convinced I become that I’m right.(as they head to the front of the church the organ music begins to play and Sonny and Juan take their places.)

Bobbie(as Stefan and Alexis sit down next to her)Stefan, what are you doing here?

Stefan: Mrs. Lansbury said you dropped by while I was out of town wanting to see me and I wanted to know why.

Bobbie: So you came to my daughter’s wedding?

Juan(to Sonny as they stand at the altar)I want to let you know how honored I am that you asked me to be your best man.

Sonny(doesn’t hear him. He only has eyes for Carly as she comes marching down the aisle towards him on his father’s arm. AJ slips out of the confessional and makes his way up the stairs to the balcony overlooking the chapel, as Sonny takes Carly‘s hand in his and they both face Father Coates) You look beautiful.

Carly:(smiles)So do you.

OUTSIDE QUEEN OF ANGELS CHURCH:

Helena(walks over to Tammy whose struggling to break free of Andreas grip. Even if Andreas wasn’t holding his hand over Tammy’s mouth no one inside would have heard her as the organ music inside the church reached its crescendo)Well, Ms. Carson, I’ve taken my best shot. Where is yours. Your the big, mean, tough street-bitch who can handle anything, so you should be able to break free of Andreas’ grasp with no help, at all, shouldn‘t you? You’re not so tough after all, are you? You’re certainly no match for me.

Andreas(looking around nervously)Madam, can we just get on with this before someone sees us.

Helena; In due time, Andreas, in due time. Just let me savor the moment.

Andreas: Madam, I’m having a hard time holding her.

Helena: All right, Andreas, if you insist. (she opens her purse and removes a dildo)I am the Sex Toy Stalker, Ms. Carson, and you are my next victim. (Tammy’s eyes widen in horror as Helena begins to walk towards her).

CHAPEL, QUEEN OF ANGELS CHURCH:

Father Coates: Michael and Caroline, would you please face each other and say your vows to each other.

AJ:(takes his place up in the balcony as he aims his gun straight at Sonny)I have to wait for the right moment. I have to wait until the moment they’re pronounced husband and wife. Then, Sonnyboy, I’m going to splatter your guts all over this church. (he takes out his flask and takes a quick drink from it).

Sonny(looking deeply into Carly’s eyes.)I, Michael, take you Caroline to be my wife. I promise to love, honor and cherish you for all the days of our lives and I promise to never leave you no matter what crazy plan you come up with next.

Carly: I, Caroline, take you Michael to be my husband. I promise to love, honor and cherish you for all the days of our lives and I promise never to leave you no matter how much of a control freak you act like.

AJ(angrily as he watches Sonny and Carly reciting their vows to each other)She never once looked at me that way. Not once. She never even looked at Jason the way she’s looking at him. It’s not fair.

Father Coates: Michael, will you place your ring on Caroline’s finger.

Sonny( takes the ring Juan hands him and slides it on Carly’s finger)I give this ring as a token and faith of my undying love. With all that I am and with all that I will be. With this ring, I thee wed.

Father Coates: Caroline, will you place your ring on Michael’s finger.

Carly(takes the ring from Chloe and slides it on Sonny’s finger)I give this ring as a token and faith of my undying love. With all that I am and with all that I will be. With this ring I thee wed.

Father Coates: With the given and receiving of rings, and by the authority invested in me by the state of New York and the city of Port Charles, I now pronounce Michael and Caroline husband and wife. What God has brought together let no man put asunder. Michael, you may kiss your bride.(as Sonny lifts Carly’s veil and moves in to kiss her, AJ takes aim and slowly begins to pull the trigger back).

OUTSIDE THE QUEEN OF ANGELS’ CHURCH:

Andreas(removes his hand from Tammy’s mouth and she lets out a blood-curdling scream just as the organ music inside reaches another crescendo signaling the culmination of the wedding ceremony. And just as Sonny is kissing his bride inside the church, Helena rams the dildo down Tammy‘s throat. Then she steps back and watches as Tammy falls to the ground floundering around like a fish out of water).

CHAPEL, QUEEN OF ANGELS CHURCH:

Johnny(and Francis sneak up behind AJ just as he’s about to shoot Sonny and grab him. He doesn’t even put up much of a fight as he’s dragged away since he’s so liquored up with booze)

Father Coates(waits until Sonny and Carly finish kissing then he has them turn towards the guests in the church)Ladies and gentlemen. I have the great honor of presenting you to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Corinthos.

OUTSIDE THE QUEEN OF ANGELS CHURCH:

Andreas(stares down at a very dead Tammy)So, what should we do with her?

Helena: Why don’t we just leave her here.

Andreas: But won’t the bride and groom stumble over her when they come out of the church.

Helena: Consider it my wedding gift to the happy couple. Right now we’ve got bigger problems on our hands.

Andreas: Chloe Morgan?

Helena: Yes, if what she said is true she’s a very big problem. There’s no telling just how much she knows. It looks like Chloe Morgan may have to be the Sex Toy Stalker’s next victim.
