And in more than one way. It was another bumpy roller coaster ride this week for Sonny and Carly. The week began with Carly trying to con Sonny out of $40,000 so he wouldn’t learn about Mike’s gambling debts. At first Sonny balked, but when Carly called him on the real reason he didn’t want to give her the money [ he didn’t want her to buy a house ] he agreed to give her the money. Then a heat of another kind permeated their scenes together.

When Carly made noises about it being time for her to go, Sonny said she hadn’t had dessert yet. Since we all know that Sonny doesn’t do dessert, he was obviously talking about himself. Carly could just consider him a little slice of Sonny Cheesecake. It was obvious what Sonny meant by the way he started touching her hair and that sexy tone his voice took on. Sonny looked like he was about to zero in for a kiss. But Carly resisted and asked him to take her home and to give her a rain check for dessert.

Once at the Brownstone, Sonny seemed to be getting his groove on, again. As he and Carly continued to talk he looked like he was about to move in for a kiss, but alas Bobbie entered and the moment was ruined. But just as Sonny was about to leave, Carly pulled him into a hug that lasted a bit longer than it needed to and Sonny went home to his lonely bed.

That was nothing compared to the next time Sonny dropped by the Brownstone to see Carly. He came to tell her the money had been deposited in her bank account and while Carly was showing Sonny houses, he was turning the sex on, again. But Carly didn’t seem to notice that he had that tone in his voice that screamed of satin sheets and passion. Or notice the way his dark brown eyes smoldered as he looked at her. She also had no idea that Sonny copped a look at her butt when she bent over and sighed. All she noticed was he didn’t seemed to be that interested in the houses she showed him and once he left she declared that she knew Sonny wanted her back and she would make him admit it.

Unfortunately, by the end of the week it looked like Sonny’s sexual ardor had been killed by Carly’s plan to nail Sorel. A plan that ended up trapping him, instead. As Sonny was trying to destroy the tape Carly had made of him and Sorel talking, Taggart busted into the motel room they were in prepared to arrest Sonny. Add to that that next Friday Carly’s obsession Jason will be returning, and things don’t look good for Sonny and Carly, at all.
