WILL THEY OR WON'T THEY?

Sonny and Carly as they begin to say their wedding vows.

It's was another wild and turbulent ride for Sonny and Carly, this week. After Carly bad-naturedly agreed to marry Sonny, she had a few conditions. Top amongst them is Sonny could freeze her out the way he was doing. Sonny said he was just mad and he had every reason to be, and he revealed he hoped they could get back what they had together when they were planning to marry when they were expecting the baby. Unfortunately, just as things started to return to normal between Sonny and Carly, Sonny got a phone call. The Borg had been arrested.

Sonny and Carly rushed down to police headquarters, and Sonny watched as Carly caused a scene with Dara, demanding Jason be set free. He also watched the way Jason was able to get her to pipe down. Eventually, Jason suggested Sonny and Carly go home for the night, something that Sonny was more than eager to do. When they got home, Carly overheard Sonny making plans to meet Sorel and asked him not to. She didn't want him putting himself in danger, which pleased Sonny that she was worried about him.

Thursday, Bobbie stopped by the penthouse to put her stamp of disapproval on Sonny and Carly getting married without love being involved. She advised Carly to let go of Jason before marrying Sonny. She also said that while the Borg would never make a committment to her, Sonny has done nothing but want to make a committment to her. After Bobbie left, Alexis arrived and informed Sonny and Carly they would have to marry immediately because the date for Carly's deposition had been moved up.

When Carly began to balk at that, Sonny told her she doesn't have to go through with it if she really doesn't want to marry him. But Carly said she would since she felt she had no choice. She went upstairs and put on the white dress Sonny had bought for her on the island to use for her wedding gown, and Sonny put on a blue suit. Sonny gave Carly back her engagement ring and showed her the plain wedding rings he bought for them to wear, and Carly asked if there was another reason Sonny wanted to marry her aside from saving himself from jail. Unfortunately, before Sonny could answer Alexis arrived with the Justice of the Peace and the Borg arrived to play best man and to give the bride away. Then as Sonny and Carly began to say their vows to each other, in the middle of her vows Carly stopped and said she couldn't do this.
