JASON RETURNS!

As was reported in the Port Charles Gazette Jason The Borg Morgan returned to Port Charles for unspecified reasons. Carly was over the moon about this development, believing Jason could wave his hands and make all her problems disappear. After asking Jason why he broke his promise to her to always take care of her and having her hopes squashed that she was the reason he left Port Charles, she assured Jason that Michael remembered him when they were reunited when he so clearly didn't. In the meantime, Sonny was being told by Alexis the only way to get himself out of the mess Carly had gotten him into was to marry her. Sonny catergorically refused to do so, citing the fact he married Lily who he didn't love and hurt Brenda who he did love.

When Sonny returned to the penthouse he walked in on the cozy little family scene of Carly gazing adoringly at Jason while he held Baby Michael on his lap. Not wanting to intrude he tried to slip out, but Baby M was having none of that, when he called out Sonny's name, which alerted everyone to Sonny's presence. Carly continued to flit around in front of Sonny in Borg Mode telling him that now Jase was back all their troubles were over. She also refused to let Sonny and Jason be alone for two seconds together, as she didn't want to let Jase out of her sight.

A couple of days later Sonny came home to find Carly in a tizzy as she was calling all over trying to find Jason. When Carly once again spouted her nonsense about all their troubles being over being Jason was back, Sonny exploded that she was living in a fantasy world.

 Carly headed over to tell Lila of Jason's return and ended up talking more about Sonny than she did Jason. She seemed to try and convince herself she wanted a family with Jason, since she's convinced Sonny hates her. At the same time, Sonny was pouring out his troubles to Jason on the docks. He seemed more upset with Carly over her putting herself in danger than getting himself arrested. And Jason declared Sonny was lying when he said he should have paid Carly off and shipped her out of town when she got pregnant with his child. When Sonny revealed that Alexis thinks the only way out of his legal woes is to marry Carly, Jason urged him to do it.

The next day Carly went over to Kelly's Diner to warn Liz to stay away from her man. Liz advised her to take it up with Jason, since she'd see Jason as much as she wanted. Curiously, when Carly found Jason at the penthouse, the only thing she talked about was Sonny, as she begged Jason to take her away from all her troubles.

At the same time on the docks, Alexis told Sonny if he doesn't want to marry Carly, there's another alternative. To send her away with Jason. Sonny seemed about to do as Alexis suggested when he returned to the penthouse and Carly said she loved being with Jason more than anything. But at the last moment he couldn't bring himself to go through with it as he told Carly she wasn't going to have a future with Jason because she was going to be marrying him.
