SONNY & CARLY KISS AND MAKE-UP

Sonny and Carly make love after the slap heard round the world.

Carly was horrified that she slapped Sonny and immediately tried to comfort him, but he told her to stay away from him. He needed time to deal with being hit, as it brought back memories of his childhood abuse. Once he was in control, he pulled Carly in his arms and comforted her. Then he told Carly what it's like when he has one of his breakdowns. He stays in a dark room, smashes everything and the people that have died are there with him. Afterwards, he can't remember much of what happened, and revealed he doesn't remember much of what happened between them last August during his breakdown.

Afterwards, Sonny took Carly for a swim. When they returned they shared some tales from thier childhood. Then Sonny told her if someone had to be hit, he was glad it was him, which lead to Carly and Sonny making love for the first time since they lost the baby.

The next day, Sonny bought Carly a beautiful white dress. He told her he saw it in a shop window and thought she'd like it. Then he told her he was taking her to the casino to gamble that night, but Carly didn't want to go. Eventually, Sonny convinced her to come, anyway.

When they arrived at the casino, Sonny explained he'd had it emptied for the night. Then he proceeded to teach Carly to trust her gut instincts and not to second guess herself. When Carly quit after winning, she explained a wise man taught her to quit while she was ahead. Sonny was surprised that Carly actually had listened to him their previous time at the casino. When they got back to the cabana, Carly pulled Sonny to her and told him to kiss her.

Carly surprised Sonny even further on Friday when she told him he did something for her even Jason couldn't do. He stopped her from ruining her life with one of her plans. Then Carly told Sonny he's good for her and she needs him. Sonny seemed to be so effected by that admission that he got so lost in kissing her passionately that he didn't even hear the phone ringing. But Carly did and told him to go answer it. It was Benny telling Sonny it was time to come home.
