SONNY & CARLY FINALLY GRIEVE TOGETHER

After participating in the rescue of Hannah Scott and lowering the boom on rogue federal agent, John Larken, Sonny returned home to his penthouse to find Carly dressed in work clothes and waiting for him. She demanded he help her remove the wallpaper from the nursery. She couldn't stand having it on the walls a moment longer. Sonny agreed and they headed up to the nursery.

Once in the nursery, when Carly couldn't get the wallpaper off with a scraper, she tries to claw it off with her fingernails. Sonny stopped her and she collapsed in his arms.

 Afterwards, Sonny told her what happened the night the baby died and he gave the doctor's permission to take the baby. He told Carly he knew it wasn't what she would have chosen, but he didn't want her to die. Then they headed downstairs where Carly put on Sonny's jacket to feel close to him and laid her head in his lap. As they held hands and Sonny caressed her hair he talked about what dreams he had for thier baby had he lived.

The next day when Carly learned of Sonny's participation in the Hannah rescue, she realized how out of it she's been lately. A few days later Carly had a run-in with AJ Quartermaine. Things quickly turned nasty when he showed no regret for causing her to lose her baby, and added insult to injury by declaring he would take her remaining child away from her.

When Carly returned home she demanded that Sonny kill AJ, but he refused, saying they couldn't because he was Michael's father. Not one to take no for an answer, Carly began plotting AJ's demise as she insisted Sonny take her to next week's Nurses Ball.
