SONNY & CARLY CONTINUE TO GRIEVE

Sonny as he visits Lily's grave on the anniversary of her death.

In the second week of the tragedy that took place at the Quartermaine Mansion, Sonny and Carly continued to grieve for the loss of their son. Unfortunately, they grieved separately.

Sonny had a confrontation on the docks with AJ Q, who he holds responsible for the tragedy. He told Mr. Q to stay away for me and mine and that AJ would be allowed no access to Michael unless Michael wanted to see him.

While this was going on at the docks, Carly was devastated when she discovered Sonny had cleared out the baby's nursery and laid into Sonny for what he'd done, accusing him of wanting to forget the baby ever existed. When she later apologized for what she said, she discovered Sonny hadn't heard her apology, having left the nursery before without her being aware of it.

Later in the week, Carly decided not to press charges against AJ Q, believing Sonny has a plan to get even with AJ.

 While Sonny was off visiting his dead wife's grave on the anniversary of her death, his father Mike Corbin arrived at the penthouse and blamed Ms. Benson for the miscarriage. Sonny walked in on the scene and ordered his father out. But before he could assure Carly he didn't blame her for what happened with the baby, Agent Larken called up demanding Sonny hand over Roy DeLucca to him.

Friday, Bobbie Spencer finally returned home and gave her daughter some sage advice about how important it is that she and Sonny grieve their loss together. At the same time, Sonny was pouring out his feelings to Roy.

When Sonny returned home he was pleased to see Carly had finally gotten dressed and offered to fix her dinner. Unfortunately, while he was in the kitchen the cradle he'd ordered hand-made arrived and when the grieving couple saw it, they hugged each other and hung on to each other for dear life.
