CARLY FINALLY AGREES TO WEAR SONNY'S RING

Thursday, May 18 was a milestone for Sonny and Carly as Carly finally removed the Borg's rings allowed Sonny to put his ring on her. The monumentous occasion began when Sonny came home. Before that Carly had had a heart-to-heart with her mother where she expressed her worry for Mr. Corinthos and got the cold comfort of her mother suggesting she reconsider marrying Sonny and refusing to tell her what Sonny and Roy were up to.

Anyway, when Sonny returned home Carly offered him a deal. If he'd tell her what was going on she'd wear his ring. Sonny explained he was trying to protect her by not telling her what was going on and finally Ms. Benson relented and agreed to wear Mr. Corinthos' ring.

In a very touching ceremony Mr. Corinthos and Ms. Benson promised not to ever leave each other and shared a kiss.

Friday, Sonny, Carly and Michael were sharing a nice picnic in the park together when a nasty pest intruded. It wasn't an ant, but one AJ Quartermaine whose greeting to the trio was, "Oh look, it's the gangster, his tramp and my son." Mr. Corinthos got him to leave. Unfortuately, that wasn't the last of AJ Q they'd seen for the day.

When the trio arrived home, Mr. Corinthos got a phone call from Eddie Q asking him to come over to the mansion, and Ms. Benson decided to accompany him. While Mr. Corinthos went into the living room to discuss business with Mr. Q, Ms. Benson went upstairs to visit Lila Q. On the way back downstairs, Ms. Benson was confronted by an even drunker AJ Q and during their fight he grabbed her wrist and when she pulled away she fell backwards down the stairs to the horror of Sonny Corinthos who heard voices raised and arrived on the scene just in time to see his pregnant bride-to-be falling down the stairs.
