CARLY DISCOVERS MIKE IS SONNY'S STALKER

After Laura made it clear that she considered having to work with Carly as a fate worse than death and turned down Sonny's offer for money, Carly suggested Sonny buy Deception for her and let her run it solo, but Sonny said he couldn't do that to Laura. But he promised to buy her any other company she'd like and told her he had faith in her. Which caused Carly to get romantic with him, telling him she had the best husband on earth and they ended up sharing a few passionate kisses, while outside the penthouse Sonny's stalker lurked.
The next day was Halloween and Sonny and Carly took Baby Michael to Bobbie's Halloween party. During the party Sonny was called away, and when Carly got home with Michael, Carly discovered Mike lurking outside of the penthouse. She tried to convince him to come in the penthouse and wait for Sonny, assuring him Sonny wouldn't turn him away. While at the same time ex-tart turned waitress, Tammy Carson, was giving Sonny a hard time about his father and why he isn't concerned about his missing father. Sonny told her in no uncertain terms it was none of her business and he had no intention of discussing this with her.
Much to Sonny's chagrin when he got home Carly wanted to talk about Mike and how Sonny feels about him. Which really got Sonny's back up as he told her he wasn't going to talk about this and that he was going upstairs to bed. As Sonny stomped up the stairs in a temper, Carly began to come up with another of her plans. It should be mentioned Carly's last plan ended up getting Sonny arrested.
The next day Carly spied on Sonny playing with Michael and telling him that they were a family now and he never had to worry about leaving the penthouse, again. When Leticia arrived to take Michael to the park, Carly played the Mike card again, and said she knows how much Sonny misses Mike and she knows how much it must have hurt when Mike abandoned him as a child. The night before Carly had tried to draw a comparison between Michael and Sonny, too, and this didn't work any better than the previous time. To get Carly off the Mike topic Sonny asked if she'd found a company she wanted him to buy for her, yet. Carly responded by telling him she knew what he was doing and it wasn't going to work. She told him she knew he was trying to push her away and keep her at a distance because he's afraid if he lets her get close, one day she might abandon him the way his father did, but she assured him that would never happen. She also admitted she some times tries to push Sonny away and keep him at a distance, as well.
After Sonny left for the day, Carly decided to go and visit Mike. The night before when Mike left she followed him to where he was now living. When she got to where Mike is living she found him getting beaten up by some men he owes money to. Carly being Carly she jumped into the fray and warned them they'd better leave Mike alone because he was Sonny Corinthos' father. Then the men started to turn on her not believing her claim that she was Mrs. Sonny Corinthos.
