CARLY WANTS A JOB, BUT SONNY WON'T GIVE HER ONE!

The latest bug Carly has up her butt is to get a job. To that end she's tried to get Sonny to let her work at the Coffee Warehouse, but he's continued to refuse her. So she decided to look elsewhere. One of those places was at Kelly's Diner working for her mother, only her mother shot her down, as well. Even though Carly explained to her she wanted a job to prove to Sonny that she wasn't with him because he was supporting her, but she was with him because she wanted to be with him. But Carly wasn't going to let that get her down. She was determined to find herself a job.

While Sonny and Carly were fussing and fighting over why he won't give her a job at the warehouse, neither notice that somebody was stalking Sonny. After Carly stormed away from Sonny on the docks because he wouldn't let her work at the warehouse, a strange man was seen following Sonny as he headed to the warehouse.

While Carly continued to look for a job, including stooping to look through the wanted ads, Sonny proposed something she could do with her time. He suggested she become Alexis' friend and help her through her wedding, since he felt Alexis needed a woman to talk to. Last week Alexis fainted on Sonny due to her pre-marital jitters. Sonny tried to talk to her but not being a woman he didn't do much good. Carly said she'd think about it when Sonny wouldn't stop bugging her about it.

Then Carly got a little of her own back on Sonny as she told him she was going to apply for a job as a belly dancer. Sonny told her absolutely not. Then Carly did an impromptu belly dance for him, which clearly turned him on. Earlier, with a definite Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden undertone, Sonny and Carly took turns sharing an apple. But we never got to see where all those little erotic moments might have lead to. Alas, they were interrupted, again.

This time by Laura. Laura showed up looking for financing to buy Deception. When Laura explained why she wanted a job of her own, Sonny finally got why Carly wanted a job, and he came up with a brilliant idea. Laura and Carly could work together.
