Here is an example of my created tube for use in making bordered backgrounds. I actually lost the sessions log and could not locate the tutorial, so I "winged-it" based on what I had originally read over a couple weeks back.

I went ahead and included a cut-out dingbat design on the border, based on the lesson in creating cut-out tubes. I applied the border on a separate layer over the fill texture (created with the texture effect in PSP6) of the background, and then moved it into place. Saved it in a compressed JPEG format and used it as the tiled background for this page. I added the photos as I remembered that it was part of the assignment (I hope! ;-)  ).
