Souls in Limbo? One that (if answered) would help me to understand the way you think. Will you answer the question as asked? >..... Does a fertilized egg cell feel pain? Does a month old fetus? And how do you know? And is a woman who has not given birth a mother? If a woman has not ever given birth, but has a miscarrage (or an abortion) is she a mother? What if she has had an egg fertilized, but it failed to implant? Still a mother? (Are we both speaking the same language here?) >....Then there is the issue that babies killed > this way can't go to heaven. Where do they go? And (more to the point) how do you know this?? And how do you know that being aborted by a woman who does not want you is worse than being born later to a mother who does want you? > > What do you mean "later"? Are you a buddist or somthing? Well I could be. Does the law in the US enforce your particular religion? And should it? >....You only get one > chance at your God given right to life. Do you? Again, how do you know this? >...A baby born later is a completely > different person. Don't you agree? They will have different genes. But how do you know that they are a different 'person'? And when you say that aborted babies don't go to heaven, where DO they go? And are you certain that they don't get another chance later? Sounds to me like you want the law to enforce a lot of your ideas, and ones that you have no evidence for. >They go to limbo. And how do you know? >I'm putting you on my kill file. By Jim. Tower-O-Power wrote: (of Wayne) > > A Buddhist maybe? Is your religion the only one that worships God? Hi, This guy seems to have a direct link to God. He knows all kind of things like where 'babies' which are aborted go, and that a fetus is a person unless it was conceived by rape, and that the Nobel Prize in Chemistry to Molina and Rowland was for junk science (because he does not like the results), and that the current reduction in crime in the USA has nothing to do with Roe v Wade. But when I ask him how he knows all this, its "By Jim". (Guess English is not his strong suit ;-). ,,,,,,, _______________ooo___(_O O_)___ooo_______________ (_) Tue, 22 Feb 2000 07:01:39 -0600 From: Jim Blair "Wayne" writes (of the unborn in limbo): > >You are misquoting me Jim. In addition to the 30 or 40 million abortions in the US since Roe v Wade (or about one for each 3 live births), isn't the estimate that over half (and maybe 2 out of 3) fertilized eggs fail to implant? And add to that the number that didn't implant because of IUD's. So the expectation would be that overall there are maybe twice as many people going to limbo as ever got born. And Wayne knows that they can never get 'recycled'. Maybe the Catholic Church closed limbo because it got filled up?? ,,,,,,, _______________ooo___(_O O_)___ooo_______________ (_) jim blair (jeblair@facstaff.wisc.edu) Madison Wisconsin USA.
