There's a game that swept through the United States this year called Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Basically, the main thrust of the game is to connect any actor that has ever appeared in a movie with actor Kevin Bacon in less than 6 moves. For example: Peter O'Toole:
O'Toole, Peter has a Bacon number of 2:

O'Toole, Peter was in Nutcracker Prince, The (1990) with Sutherland, Kiefer
Sutherland, Kiefer was in Flatliners (1990) with Bacon, Kevin

For more complete instructions on how this works, check out the original Oracle of Bacon web site.

Like everything else, this got us thinking, who would be the one connection between all other politicians in the world? Who else? Gerry Adams. Not that we're saying Gerry has some magical hold over world politics, he just serves as the glue that holds the world's political systems together. Take the following examples and try it yourself. Find the mo9st obscure politician in the world, and try linking him/her with Gerry. Garunteed to happen in six moves or less.
