| On March 26, 1927, natives of Gagliano Aterno in Detroit founded the Gagliano Aterno Club at the Santa Maria Parochial School in order to "develop our physical and intellectual power and to cultivate the benefits of friendship for ourselves as well as for our children." The club remains open to all men who are descendents of Gaglianese origin or have married into families who are. The Club participates in various social functions, and a sister club exists in Hamilton, Ontario. |
