Maxim XJ700. I'd appreciate it if you would post it.
As you probably know, the 700's were only made for two years (85-86) as
Japan's response to the US tariff on 750cc's and over. Mine is a great
bike. Starts every time. Only has 10,000 miles on her. I get lots of
looks from car drivers at stop lights. My only complaint is with the
suspension, especially the front forks. The bike doesn't handle small
bumps well, no matter how I adjust the rear springs. I've replaced the
fork oil. Still no better.
I bought this bike used in '87 for only $1,700.00, so I'd say I've
gotten my money's worth. No plans to sell it though. I've had six
bikes before this one, but I'm keeping this one!
