This page is devoted to the glorious universe created by George Lucas, and elaborated upon by Timothy Zahn, Tom Veich, Cam Kennedy, and even Kevin J. Anderson. Star Wars is definately back after a short hiatus during the middle 80's. With the re-release of Star Wars: A New Hope in January 1997, the generation of the 1980's will be treated to a great spectacle on the silver screen. Sure, when Star Wars came out it didn't have the morphing technology and special effects of such movies as T2 or Mission Impossible, but it was the movie that started it all. Heck, Lucas is such a perfectionist that he even decided to add a couple of scenes and perfect an already great film. For Special Edition photos please visit the pictures section.
My Star Wars experiences were quite limited until recently. I was born exactly two weeks before Star Wars premiered at the Mann's Chinese Theatre on May 25, 1977. It was LucasArts that rekindled my interest in the galaxy far, far away with their awesome game X-Wing. Check out my LucasArts section for more info on the MULTIPLAYER sequel, X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, as well as Dark Forces II. Very cool stuff coming out soon.
I'm really excited about X-WING vs. TIE FIGHTER. There was an article about the upcoming network game in a recent issue of PC Gamer Magazine. LucasArts claims that people will have the ability to control entire flights at once, and if you have a microphone handy, actually communicate with your wingmen or opponents in real time. I just hope that when it comes out my Pentium 133 will be powerful enough to meet its demands.
A new multiplayer Warcraft II-like game set in the Star Wars universe will be out sometime in 1999. It's called "Force Commander" and from the screen shots I've seen so far, it looks mighty interesting. Check out the pictures here.
I've found LOTS of new information pertaining to the Star Wars Prequels!
Visit the Star Wars Movie News section to view it!
I've also acquired a couple more Special Edition Pictures, including a new glimpse at Jabba the Hutt (Pretty bizzare looking). You can check them out in the Pictures section.
Be sure to watch the new Star Trek movie for insight on ILM's special effects as a precursor to the new Star Wars movies!

In an act of sheer willpower, I went ahead and watched ALL THREE Star Wars movies Back-to-Back-to-Back in Westwood, CA on March 27, 1997. Seven and a Half Hours of Darth Vader, the Force, and Luke! What an experience! It was interesting how the sound quality and theatre size got bigger after every movie! (Star Wars has been out here since January 31, so the newer movies get the better theatres)
Thanks to everyone who has helped make this page great! -Josh 3/30/97
Back from a long break updating this page. I attended the John Williams Hollywood Bowl concert recently - a fireworks spectacular filled with lots of Star Wars music! Great stuff!
Back from an even LONGER
break updating (1 year). Lots of housekeeping to do... - Josh 10/14/98
