Hi, all -
Just a quick note of thanks to Chris Pittack for letting me crew on his gorgeous Cal 40, Wings last weekend! What a great time! Winds about 25 to 30. New rudder that makes the boat just scoot (8.5 knots lots of times without surfing). And a great time with Chris P and his boat partner, Bob. Sadly, Deke (Chris's great big yeller dog) didn't get to come. We stuck him in the garage with a chewy toy. Poor guy, he looked absolutely devastated!

Puget Sound was beautiful if a little rainy (it's the Northwest, after all), but the boat was a dream to sail. We ran a number 4 with a flat main and no reefs. Gorgeous day.

Thanks, Chris! If I ever get Swiss Cheese turned back into Swiss Navy, I'll reciprocate. In the meantime, we can always take you for a ride on Lake Tahoe in my little HukiPau!
