Subject: Catalina C@L Club Champagne Caper

The first official meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Catalina C@L Club Champagne Caper ©, was held at the Marina del Rey Public Library, Meeting Room, 5PM, December 6, 1999. Tea was served.

Members in attendance were Mssrs. No knuckles Wilkie, No Keel Harris, No Holding Tank Curtiss, and Soon to be No boat Ford.

After tea and cookies, the Board decided that the first annual " Catalina C@L Club Champagne Caper ©, would be held sometime in the Spring of 2000. Great discussion followed with more tea and cookies.

Maybe it was reversed, - Great amounts of tea and cookies were consumed, followed by the decision to hold the event sometime next year.....

Meeting was adjourned after more Cea and Tookies, about the same time as they turned out the lights.

The official chronicler of the Catalina C@L Club Champagne Caper©, was last seen heading back to Santa Barbara, about 2:45 AM attempting to drive his car off the pier "I'm taking the short way home", he said. " 'sides, this is as close to the water as I've been in two years".
