We were on a cruise thru the Leeward Islands and the captain, an English lad with a Monty Python sense of humor would play "'Amazing Grace' - by the Scottish, Highlander Bagpipers" each time he left the dock. I loved it so much that I bought a tape of their music (?) just to have that song. I try to play it - very loud - when ever I depart an anchorage that I'm not likely to return to. The reactions I've gotten are worth every penny that the tape cost.

  BTW, the boat I was on is now on the bottom, off the coast of Central America. It sank during a hurricane a couple of years ago with 35 crew aboard, different captain. I wonder if he continued the tradition?????
