Alaska is Awesome
Not only did I survive my Alaskan Trek, but I had an incredible time.

One of the highlights of my trip was having the good fortune to hoist a glass of Alaskan Amber with an accomplished sailor, a conqueror of the wild Pacific, the infamous Kurt Ford. My son and I were on our best behavior, apparently, because Kurt was even willing to truck us down to Seward for an in water boat show, guided tour and lecture. What a great deal!

Seward is a beautiful port. Next year I'll plan ahead and arrange a sailing charter and possibly meet the elusive Randi.....rumor has it that she's quite good looking. Prince William Sound? Oh my Gawd! You gotta see it. Grizzlies? They are really cute. Especially the way they stick their heads under the surface (with their foreheads and ears sticking out) and pan back and forth choosing their next tasty Salmon Sashimi. I had to continually remind myself that they were capable of knocking my head off my shoulders with a left cross. They are apparently left-handed.

Thanks again Kurt!
