Just returned from a few days in the Fort Lauderdale area visiting my mother. Here are a few listings I noticed in the local Sailboat Trader magazine: A Cal25 for $2,000, solid transom, no motor, looks good in the photo, 561-569-4975; 2 Cal27s: $8,500 with an Atomic 4 (407-322-7006), and $5,000 with a Mercury (727-394-2815). Also noticed what seemed like a forgotten Cal27 at a rental dock with its docklines loose and dragging in the water. I snugged her up as best I could, given the fact that I didn't want to climb onto the boat. Anyway, she looked in good shape even if her docklines were like iron from having been in the sun and salt too long. Fla. registration: FL 00535MG.
