Contrary to what some may believe,
cheetahs are not distinguished by
their spots. They are distinguished
by the markings on their tails.
Each one has a different and
significant pattern.

It almost looks as if this cheetah
were captured in mid-flight.
I guess in a sense, he was.
He is in mid-air while running.

A lot of these pictures came
from the Cheetah Conservation
Station at the Dudley Zoo.
