The function keys do not constitute a row. Row 1 starts with the BREAK key.
The position of the graphically represented keys can be found by moving your mouse on top of the graphic.

Turn your calculator on
Press The ON key: It's on the upper left corner..
Clearing the memory
Press . The screen will say STAT FUNCTIONS and list four functions below the words. Press The F 1 Key: above the regular keyboard to choose CLR. The screen will now say SELECT NO. VARS. Press either The F 1 Key: above the regular keyboard (CS1) again to clear the one-variable memory or The F 2 Key: above the regular keyboard (CS2) to clear two-variable memory.

Entering data
one variable
Enter the first value and press The Sigma Plus Key: Row 1, Column 3. Enter the second and press The Sigma Plus Key: Row 1, Column 3. Continue until the end of the list.

Enter n. Press The x tilde t key: Row 1, Column 4. Enter r. Press The Second Key: Row 2, Column 10 It's Yellow The Seven Key: Row 1, Column 11 (you should see nPr above the key).

Turning the calculator off
Press The Off Key: Long thin key on the upper left. Says OFF above it.

Worked Out Examples

In the following examples, we list the exact key sequence used to find the answer.  We will list the keys by the main symbol on the key.  In parentheses, we will list a helpful mnemonic, e.g. we will list ex as (ex).

A: What is the mean and standard deviation of the following list of numbers?

15      16      20      21

1: Clear Memory   The F 1 Key: above the regular keyboard (CLR) The F 1 Key: above the regular keyboard (CS1)
2: Enter Data  The One Key: Row 3, Column 11 The Five Key: Row 2, Column 12 The Sigma Plus Key: Row 1, Column 3 The One Key: Row 3, Column 11 The Six Key: Row 2, Column 13 The Sigma Plus Key: Row 1, Column 3 The Two Key: Row 3, Column 12 The Zero Key: Row 4, Column 11 The Sigma Plus Key: Row 1, Column 3 The Two Key: Row 3, Column 12 The One Key: Row 3, Column 11 The Sigma Plus Key: Row 1, Column 3
3: Compute the mean  The STAT Key: Row 3, Column 3 The F 3 Key: above the regular keyboard (MN)
4: Compute the population standard deviation  The STAT Key: Row 3, Column 3 The INVerse Key: Row 1, Column 10 The F 4 Key: above the regular keyboard (s)
5: Compute the sample standard deviation   The STAT Key: Row 3, Column 3 The F 4 Key: above the regular keyboard (s)

You should get a mean of 18, population standard deviation of 2.549509757 and a sample standard deviation of 2.943920289.

B: Find the linear regression line for the following table of numbers.  Also find the correlation.

x 1 2 3 4
y 2 4 5 7

1: Clear Memory   The F 1 Key: above the regular keyboard (CLR) The F 2 Key: above the regular keyboard (CS2)
2: Enter Data   The One Key: Row 3, Column 11 The x tilde t key: Row 1, Column 4 The Two Key: Row 3, Column 12 The Sigma Plus Key: Row 1, Column 3 The Two Key: Row 3, Column 12 The x tilde t key: Row 1, Column 4 The Four Key: Row 2, Column 11 The Sigma Plus Key: Row 1, Column 3 The Three Key: Row 3, Column 13 The x tilde t key: Row 1, Column 4 The Five Key: Row 2, Column 12 The Sigma Plus Key: Row 1, Column 3 The Four Key: Row 2, Column 11 The x tilde t key: Row 1, Column 4 The Seven Key: Row 1, Column 11 The Sigma Plus Key: Row 1, Column 3
3: Compute the slope of the regression line   The STAT Key: Row 3, Column 3 The F 5 Key: above the regular keyboard (-->) The F 1 Key: above the regular keyboard (m-b)
4: Compute the y-intercept of the regression line  The STAT Key: Row 3, Column 3 The F 5 Key: above the regular keyboard (-->) The F 1 Key: above the regular keyboard (m-b) The x tilde t key: Row 1, Column 4
5: Compute the correlation   The STAT Key: Row 3, Column 3 The F 5 Key: above the regular keyboard (-->) The F 2 Key: above the regular keyboard (r)

    You should get a slope of 1.6, a y-intercept of 0.5, and a correlation of 0.992277876.
    The regression line would be: y = 1.6x + 0.5.
