<DeanCain> Scott- I didn't realize he couldn't fly. The comics 
   and what we do are totally different.  I prefer this version.
<Jenerator> Dean, if you were kidnapped by Tempus and swapped 
   with Clark Kent, how would you react?
<DeanCain> Kate-keep writing.  It's very difficult to sell 
   stories and ideas.  Once you sell your first one, you're well 
   on your way.
<Keely> Do you think Lois and Clark should have a boy or a girl?
<Sue2U> Dean, would you say Happy Birthday to my cousin Amanda 
   who turned 16 yesterday?
<DeanCain> Jenerator- Id be shocked to say the least.  We're 
   filming something very similar to that right now.  The 
   tempest does return.

    acting, writing or directing?
<DeanCain> I consider mysdelf a romantic guy, but I don't like 
   to read romance novels.
<Bryn> Dean: when you are filming, how much of the ep is 
   improvised? do you go strictly from the script, or do you 
   play around with it?
<DeanCain> Fan96, they're all satisfying in their own way, but 
   directing and writing are my favorites, with acting being the 
   least satisfying of the bunch.
<Bird> Dean - ANy movies on the horizon?
<DeanCain> Bryn, very little is improvised.  YOu can't because 
   there is a studio, producers, the network, so very little CAN 
   be improvised.  Too many coks in the kitchen.
<BrandyMcM> DEAN:  What are your predictions for the Superbowl?  
   Patriots or Packers? By how much?
<DeanCain> Bird, One, called Best Men which will come out in 
   September.
<DeanCain> Brandy- Greenbay by10.
<Bryn> Dean: does it aggravate you, as a writer, that you don't 
   really have that much input into the show?
<Jenerator> dean: are you planning on coming back to australia 
   any time soon?
<DeanCain> Bryn, I have a lot of input on the show, but yeah, 
   it's a little bit frustratig
<DeanCain> Jenerator, maybe this summer.  I love australia!

   FOLCs input to help with the show?
<DeanCain> cookied, I believe that the producers def. read the 
   notes and try to incorporate the notes and much as they can.
<Meg-El> Dean - Do you think the producers would like the idea 
   of having Rosie O'Donnell guest star on Lois & Clark in the 
   near future?
<cookied> Dean, what would you really like to see happen with 
   Lois & Clark when (and if, hopefully it won't) it finishes.

   wrote/directed (off camera) -- and do you have any future 
   offers?

   bringing in a superboy or something, as a guest
<DeanCain> Bryn, I enjoyed it a lot and got plenty of offers, 
   but don't know if I'll do that anymore.  I'd rather 
   concentrate on the movies.
<DeanCain> bizarro, sounds fun to me.  Anything to add something 
   new and different to the show.
<Meg-El> Dean - Do you know about the FoLC Ad??????????? It's 
   the advertisement the fans are putting in the USA today to 
   thank everyone involved in making Lois & Clark.
<Bryn> Dean: why did you choose to play a homosexual in your 
   first movie....a very risky move in Hollywood
<DeanCain> Meg, I hadn't heard about that at all.  THat's very 
   nice.
<DeanCain> Bryn, he's a very good character.  I didn't choose 
   him because he was gay, I chose him because it's a great role.
<Ker-Ra> Is ABC not running LnC during February or is it just a 
   rumor?
<DeanCain> And it's not risque.
<Puck> Dean- What kind of tv shows do you watch?
<DeanCain> Ker-Ra, i think it's just a rumor.  It would be news 
   to me.
<Clark> Dean Is Season 5 the final season for you ?
<DeanCain> Puck, my favorite show is the Larry Sanders show.  
   Other than that I like ESPN and Sports Channel.
<folc> Your scripts are definitely some of the best, they should 
   let you write the finale
<DeanCain> Clark, quite possibly.  That remains to be seen.
<cookied> Dean, "Best Men" being your first feature film, was it 
   the experience you expected?  And what did you learn from it? 
<DeanCain> folc, I'd love to, thank you.  It takes a lot fo time.
<DeanCain> cookied, I learned that making movies for a living 
   would be alot better lifestyle than starring in a one hour 
   television drama.  I really enjoyed it.

   or other new krytonians to help with a possible baby
<DeanCain> bizarro, that's a possibility, but they all have 
   their own TV shows, I doubt it.

<DeanCain> Lina, I have very ecclectic taste.  I listen to 
   everything except for Jaz.

<DeanCain> noodlenog, I doubt it.  Not that I would have a 
   problem with it, but the powers that be probably wouldn't 
   make it possible.

<DeanCain> Fish,  I think it's great that they're doing new and 
   interesting things.

   now, so that will have to be on hold.
