The Snowshoe Trip

Here's a few pics of my recent snowshoe trip. We did 12 km in total, but it was worth it. Best day you could ever wish for.

 

Here's a shot of us trudging along in the snow along the Mighty Fraser (remember Monty Python song?), including me, I'm the one in the lead in the shot.

 

 

My 'backcountry' look, fancy free; straggly hair and all. Darn cameras make it look like I had a great time! Well, I did.

Lunchtime in the canyon. Now only to find a 'dry spot'.... Now who's that with the silly looking green ski-hat? Hey, and who invited the cross-country skiier along?

Bush, and more bush....Glad that I didn't have to 'break the trail' (for those non-snowshoers- breaking the trail means being the first to walk through a DEEP pile of snow where no one has walked through since it last snowed) Darn hard work, glad that I didn't get volunteered. :-)
