LOOK'N FA SUMP'N DIFFR'NT ?
[late 2008] Fans of this website will notice that content is very rarely updated. I have added a few albums to my CD collection. Currently I am doing something which is possibly trivial but seems to be my chance at distinction. Otherwise I would have resigned myself to life as a local slacker-scholar-dilettante. A comfortable and somewhat satisfying path, but one that may have caused regret for what I could have done.
[early 2008? late 2007?]Well at this point, I have to admit that my 2007 career plan is defeated. All I can hope for now is interesting adventures, both on the road and in the mind. I know that I accomplished some things so far this year, but none of them are tangible. The results of my outwardly fruitless time will manifest themselves somewhere down the line, in a work of research, a short story, or by helping a broken-down soul to see the light.
