Wow, today sure was a big day.
I went to SF with my mom at about 1-1:30pm, after finally putting my
watch back from Japan time to American time since it's been on Japan
time since I went to Japan over a year ago. We listened to my copy of
Green all the way up there...about 1 and 1/2 times.
We went to SF Japan Town and hung out a bit. We looked at stores, had
Taiyaki, and then went to Kinokunia. I finally got my Suikoden 3 #2
manga. ^^ I feel better now that I have as much Geddoe-ness as I can.
It's weird they don't have any yaoi mangas in SF, but in SJ they have
a whole section of them...I feel lucky. We got my brother a "How
to Draw Pokemon" book and I looked for the 3rd Battle Royale manga
for my BF, but there was no luck there even though it came out over
a month ago supposedly.
My mom and I then went to get some stuff at the dollar store, turned
out to be a good idea. I got some pretty cheap Japanese candy, a felt-tip
pen (double sided), a lunchbox (japanese one), and a new pencil pouch.
All of these things were a dollar!
Then we went to get snacks at the supermarket (although Mitsuwa has
a better selection) and got some Milk Tea and some Choco-Bananna Pocky
(which I still need to eat...) and then we drank our tea and sat down
for a while.
Then we went and had sushi...it was soooo yummy!
After that we got some more Taiyaki and then went to put our stuff in
the car and walk over to the fillmore.
So, we did that and went over to the Fillmore. We saw Alissa and Gail
and hung out with them until 8pm when they admitted us (we were there
since 6:30 in line, they were there longer). They had to manually type
in the codes on our printed out tickets, but luckily everything worked
out fine so...whatever.
We went into the main area and my mom got us a little area and I went
and got my tour shirt (you can find it on their site, i'm too lazy to
link to it right now...it's only a shirt). I counted down until 9:00pm
when the concert was supposed to start, but it took them like...15 minutes
later to get going. Anyhow...I'm not so sure of the songs they played...I
only remember the songs that I knew...like Love Me, I Love You, Ultra
Soul, and It's Showtime. I was jumping and screaming and singing and
thrusting my arm out and trying not to fall over because of the crowd's
surges (caused by saliva+water being spit onto the audience, a couple
Guitar Picks being thrown, and the movement of B'z from one side of
the stage to the other). All in all it was a great 2 hours, although
my ankles probably totally hate me for it, as well as my throat.
Basically, tonight was one of the best things that ever happened to
me. I'm so happy that I was able to go, but I feel kinda sad/empty that
it's over...
