A sixteen year old boy just discovered the joy of baseball. All his life he knew nothing of the true aspects of the game but now he can't get enough of it.

Statics have been taken in recent years to monitor the growth of the sport and it has been increasing rapidly. Children as young as 5 years of age are starting to play regular pitch baseball. Tee ball has definitely taken a back seat to real baseball.

I am a current baseball player on the Wheaton College Baseball team. My plans are to start a program for inner city children to keep them off the street and help teach them the game that has helped me through life.
