Hi! Welcome to A Butterfly Blogs... Blogs like this one have been popping up all over the Internet for quite some time now. They are becoming an increasingly popular way to articulating oneself using all means of creativity and self~expression available to the imagination. Some are very fancy, very elite, and sometimes just plain mind~boggling. Other times, they're just like mine. Simple folk doing simple things out there wherever it is they've happened to stake their own claim to a piece of the Internet highway.
It is my initial intentions to use my own blog to gradually share more than 3000+ saved favorite website links I have collected over the last few years. It will also act to complement what I started out doing (and continue to do) at any number of other websites around the Internet.
The links I am sharing with you have been bookmarked as I surfed the Net in search of answers to various personal and computer~related questions for my fellow websurfers and for myself. Many of them will be general in nature as far as audience appeal goes, but you will also see the occasion website representing local life in places like Talking Rock, Jasper, and Ellijay, all reasonably small towns located here in the Northwest Georgia mountains.
Unless otherwise noted, the various featured web links were considered kid and computer~friendly at the time the entry was made. Please keep in mind, though, the ever~changing nature of the World Wide Web as you exit Butterfly Bytes and venture off on your own Internet adventures.
Feel free to consider the door as always open here at A Butterfly Blogs... Email me if you are having trouble locating something on the Internet, and I will be more than happy to do what I can to try to help wherever possible. In all the surfing I have been doing since 1994, there is only one thing that I have not been able to find, and I'm not tellin' what it is until I put it up here myself!
Peace.. Happy, Safe Surfing!

Quickie Webmastering Tip
If you start playing with CSS, make that WHEN you start playing with CSS, one of the things you might one day encounter is that, no matter what you do, you can't figure out why your font sizing seems to have a mind of its own. I know I went 'round and 'round with mine some time back.
Well, turns out that, especially when you start working with relative font sizes, one effects the effects the other, and yadda, yadda, yadda.. Really easy to try out yourself.
Just set up two or three nesting "div's" then give each an "em" font size then change them a little and view the effect. Do this once or twice, and you should be able to quickly see how the child's font size feeds off the parent's size and can end making the resulting text completely unreadable if one is not paying attention to what they are doing.. Been there, done that.. :o)

Are you still using "i" for "italics" and "b" for "bold"? STOP IT! STOP IT NOW!!
<em>emphasis</em> and <strong>bold</strong> gets you:
emphasis and bold
THEN, you can also go into your style sheet(s) and dress up both your emphasized and emboldened text to help it stand out even more. Your imagination's the limit.. :o)
