Judge who is on the left went to the bridge after a
hard battle against Wobblers. Athena our sweet rescue Dobergirl had to be put down January 26th, 2004 after a long battle with arthritis. She gave all her love to us everyday and is forever missed.
My beautiful boy Lar's died in my arms last night(Sunday 11-10-02). Tuesday he started coughing, I took him to the vet and he gave him
some pills marked only "Cough pills" he said his heart sounded fine
and so did his lungs. Other than the cough Lars was fine. About three
hours later Lars sounded like he had fluid in his lungs. I took him
to the nightime emergency clinic where he spent the night. The next
morning he went to our regular vet who x-rayed his chest and put
him on aminophylline 600mg and Lasix 80mg a day. Everything was
fine and he was due to go back to the doctor this morning. Last night
after a normal day he stood up looked at me, I petted his head and
then his back legs collasped, I started to grab him as his front went
down too, he seemed unresponsive after a few seconds he lifted
his head almost backwards, I was holding him trying to see what
was wrong, he took one last gasp and then went limp, I called for my
huband who came in and put his hand by Lar's mouth, he was already gone.
