| Willow's skills go far beyond her strengths and weaknesses as a witch; she is also a mad computer hacker, superb tutor and Buffy's best friend for the past 5 years. Not necessarily dependant on Buffy, Willow is often hurt by how people perceive her. As a matter of fact, she tends to hind behind her need for companionship. She was also somwhat attracted to Xander and she latched onto Buffy in sidekick capacity as soon as the Slayer moved to Sunnydale. Then, Willow fell madly in love with the werefolf, Oz., who was considered by most the coolest kid at Sunnydale High because of his affiliation with a popular band named Dingoes Ate My Baby. Their relationship, like most of Willow's, ended up in misery when Oz could no longer control his primal instincts. Most recently, Willow has spent her time with lesbian lover and fellow witch, Tara. In season 6, Willow has been turning into a powerful witch, she started using magic drugs and became addicted. Tara left Willow for a while because she was using too much magic. Willow decided to quit magic for good, so she could eventualy get back with Tara. In the episode "Entropy", at the end, Willow and Tara get back together but sadly in the following episode "Seeing Red", Tara is shot by Warren. Because of Tara's death she takes out on vengence and goes to find Warren to kill him. She eventually finds him and skins him to death. Buffy, Xander, and Anya see what Willow has done to Warren and are shocked. Willow thne sets out to find Andrew and Jonathen even though they weren't part of killing Tara. Buffy and the rest of The Scooby Gang protect Andrew and Jonathen. Willow goes after them and finds them and Buffy and Willow verse each other. Giles comes back and tries to stop Willow but he gets badly hurt. The rest of The Scooby Gang all are trying to stop Willow from killing anyone else, Buffy tries but Willow doesn't listen, Xander tries she doesn't listen staight away but comes around when Xander keeps telling her he loves her. Her magic addiction was brought to an end with Giles' help when she went to England.. After recovering from her past addiction of magic ,other various events and learning to control the magic, she returned to Sunnydale. At first she was scared to use her magic, for fear that she return to the dark side. But in time her confidence grew as did her power. She also had grip with Tara's death and eventually she managed to get over her and find a new girlfriend, Kennedy. Kenneday was a potential Slayer. Willow was unsure of the relationship but in the end pulled through. In the final battle to save the world aggainst a massive army of Uber vamps and The First evil, Willow had an important part.Willow used essence of the scythe to release the power of the Slayer and the strength.Buffy's power and Faith's power was now the potentials power too. From then on every girl who might be a SLayer.. will be a Slayer. Every girl who could have the power... will have the power.. can stand up, will stand up. Slayers .. every girl. By Willow pulling of this gig with the scythe, it proved how powerful and brave she was. Willow showed that she was one of the most powerful human beings/ witches of her time. When she released the essence of the scythe she did not returned to the bad side, she remained on the good side and instead of her hair turning black it was white for a few minutes and she became a goddess. Kennedy: You... are a goddess. Willow: And you're a Slayer. Get this to Buffy. Ha! That was nifty. |
