Adds Benson rep: "She's very proud of her work on the show, but ultimately, we couldn't work out the right deal." Or, "Willow's bi so we can have more storylines," he continues. "So, we do have somebody in mind that Willow will meet in the future who might shake up her world just a little bit- and it'll be a girl." |

Fans of Buffy The Vampire Slayer who've lost faith over the last couple of seasons will surely rejoice over the new of Eliza's return to the series. According to Hollywood Reporter, producers confirmed the recent rumours that Dushku will be back this season as Faith, rogue slayer who made Buffy's life even more miserable than usual during 1998-2000 seasons. She'll also be poping up on Angel. There has been much talk that this may be the final season of Buffy with Sarah. No final decisions have been made but regarding the show's future, but the fact that Faith isn't showing up until the final five episodes of the season would provide a climatic opportunity for the series to go out with a bang. |

Buffy romantic? A little v-day treat for the fans of Buffy and Spike-- James Marsters promises a 'romantic' end to the season. Of course, given to Joss Whedon's usual fare, 'romatic' will mostly tear your heart out and feed it to you with a spoon. "The end of the season will be very romantic," he revelaed, "And that's all i can say. For my character and for Buffy.. The Buffy-Spike thing is going to end very romantically and very dramatically. That doesn't necessary mean the characters are going to be together, but it doesn't preclude that either. We're talking about something larger than sex, but it doesn;t preclude sex. I don't want to spill the beans. For the first time, I know something that will happen, and I don't want to blow it." Whatever it is, be warned, Buffy fans: You might not like it. James did say this about the show's big ending: "It's both the coolestthing and the worst idea I've ever heard of. It's the last thing I ever would have thought about doing,, but when you say it, it almost seems inevitable. But we're going to piss people off-- oh god! But we're gonna make them love more." Information above was from Wanda. |
It's final, Bye Bye Buffy- Buffy the vampire slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar has driven the last nail into the show's coffin. "Buffy, 'in this incarnation, is over," Gellar tells Entertainment Weekly in an exclusive interview. "This is so weird. This is like the first time I've really said it." "You always worry about being the show that's been on too long -- especially when you're a cult hit," Gellar says in the magazine. "Last year, a lot of people were ready to tear us down. "So when we started to have such a strong year this year, I thought, "This is how I want to go out -- on top, at our best." |
"I was 18 when i started the show;I'm 26. I'm married. I never see my husband..... it feels right, and you have to listen to that." "The show as we know it, is over." Gellar's pronouncement only confirms what "Buffy" fans and industry types have been buzzing about for months now --- that the show has finally run it's course after spending seven years on the air (5 years on The Wb and 2 yearson UPN) and launching a spinoff (Angel). Gellar tells EW that "Buffy" will end in a five part story arc in which fellow "slayer" Faith will return - with some suprise deaths and an appearance by Angel (David Boreanaz) in the final episode. "We're gearing up to tell a fabulous, huge, great arc, " Gellar says. "It's going to be pretty spectacular." "Buffy" creator Joss Whedon is planning yet another spinoff, on which Gellar has promised to make some guest - starring turns. "I would love to come back - assuming, of course, that they don't kill Buffy." she says. "I love this job, I love the fans. This isn't about leaving for a career in movies or in theater - it's more of a personal decision. "My biggest fear right now is that people will blame me for ending the show," she tells EW. "People are going to think that it's my fault that their favourite show is going off air." "And god knows we're always looking for someone to blame." Information above was from an article on New York Post Online Edition. |

Joss Whedon told Tv Guide Online in October last year that a Dushku-led series is "One of many" possibilities he's considering. Aming the others: a show revolving around Buffy's younger sister Dawn (Michelle Trachtenberg) or sidekick Willow (Alyson Hannigan). "No, no! I can't say," Eliza said when asked whether she'd sign on for the spinoff. "We don't know what's going on... i'm trying to figure out a lot of things in my own life. Do I want to go back to college, do I want to do a show? It's been kind of a trip, but there's nothing definite for sure right now." |

Scooby-Doo 2 Scoop and refelections on Buffy, The Vampire Slayer In an interview with Seth Green from the Buffy Finale party Seth gives us the scoop on Scooby-Doo 2 and tells us his opinion on the show. What are your thoughts on Buffy ending? I think it's a great show. I think they had a really strong run. I don't think anybody's got anything to feel bad about. What is its legacy? I think it's an indelible legacy, don't you? It was something that connected with a lot of people. it was socially relevant. It was able to articulate really complex social themes with something humorous and accessible. I think it's pretty amzing testamet. Have you started Scooby-Doo yet? Yeah, just flew in this morning. I finished work at five this morning, was on a flight as six and I haven't really slept yet so I'm a little delirious right now. Is it like a big reunion with Srah Michelle Gellar? Yeah. We actually haven't worked together yet, but I think she's great and I look forward to working with her whenever i get the opportunity. What are you playing? I play a museum curator, like a professor of museum studies. Is this more adult than the first? There's no sex in it. I don't know what you consider adult. Undertones and subtext. Yeah, I thought the first one was pretty sharp with the adult subtext, but I think they're less bound this time by commeittee. I think the first one, they had a lot more to prove so they didn't know exactly what direction to go in, and this time they know what works and what doesn't, so they're just pulling ahead. What are the special effects like? I haven't seen them yet. Let me walk inside guys. Otherwise I'll say something retarded. |
