On my first professional visit to this site I found Peggy Corson Gary Curtis

PETROGLYPHS OF HELL'S CANYON
Peggy Corson Gary Curtis scampering around the maze of granite rocks like the petroglyph goats themselves. I must admit that I was somewhat delighted and amazed to be part of this project...NOTHING CAN BE DONE TO PRESERVE THIS SITE...I find so awe inspiring... ancient and wise... it is quickly fading into the patina of time...
We found 917 glyphs... and that's just on the Washington side !! The best are said to be on the Idaho side... and are only accessible by jet boat... or raft.
