A large part of the Russian community here in Brighton Beach came from Odessa, pretty much surrounded by water. And now they think of Brighton Beach as their "little Odessa" and are willing to pay over $2,500,000 for a duplex apartment in Oceana. That's all right with me. 1) Hasn't hurt the value of my holdings and 2) They're good neighbors.
