I heard about this site but had a difficult time finding
it. I finally got here by Asking Jeeves. It's a nice place to visit - maybe you
could make it easier to find. Peace.

We are in a physical body to experience the physical -
why not accept this?. Your flesh body will not last long - then you can be at
one with Spirit. It doesn't make much sense to try to be un-physical when you
are unquestionably physical! Of course, yo can strive to be the kindest human
possible - and I hope you do.

Is it not virtually impossible for a human being to
suspend their ego - even for a second? If you feel compelled to leave a message
here, your ego is not suspended - right?

How difficult is to check one's ego. But if we have taken
refugee on Buddha, Dhamma and Shanga we are in the path of our own liberation.
Outside of me, it does not matter a winking image of Jesus, Buddha,or if I
witnessed a miracle or not. The greatest miracle may be inside of me: When I
close my eyes and meditate, somebody inside me winks and sees me (my own
Buddha?). Be Blessed.

A human being is a part of the whole--called by us
'Universe'--a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his
thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical
delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us,
restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons
nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening
our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature
in its beauty.
