The next day....

‘Am I going crazy? What's wrong with me?' he thought the entire way to the air port. Every thought of his was filled with Anna.... or Ally as they called her. He didn't know what to believe, his own instincts, or what the guys had tried to convince him of. He was on his way home for a small break before they had to be in the studio to plan what was going to happen with their next album. He was happy that he finally got a break from all the touring and frustration, having to see the guys everyday with their girlfriends, and how happy they seemed to be. It only made him reflect more and more on how his life was a pathetic mess with no meaning. He hated himself for what he was putting himself through and his family and friends. He knew he made a mistake giving up and letting Anna move out of his life. That's what turned his life around, it was like starting all over again. Not knowing anyone having people look at you different for it. He even thought his mom and Nick blamed him for Anna moving. His life was a mess, he was going to hate going home to his big empty house having no one there waiting for him. Normally Andi would be there waiting, at least that was someone to come home to.

After Anna left the venue yesterday, Brian and Nick went home with Ely. When they walked threw the door they found the trash over flowing with tissues and heard sobs coming from the couch. Brian dropped his hand on his friend's shoulders. The two could both tell what he meant and walked back outside, so that Brian could have a few words with her.

"So you talked to AJ, I see." Brian said slowly making his way to the couch.

"How did you know?" she sniffed, as the tears poured down her cheeks.

"Well your crying, and AJ told us."

"What? He knew it was me?"

"Well no, but he thought it was."

"I cant believe this Bri, he had a gun, what am I suppose to do, I just cant handle this anymore. I mean, am I suppose to just sit here and wait for one of you guys to call me and tell me it's all over, that he committed suicide."

"No, Anna, I don't understand why you never told him you loved him, we could have avoided all this."

"Brian you really think it's that easy, he was my best friend.. I mean, what if he didn't love me or he told me he never wanted to see me again. I'd be crushed."

"Can you honestly sit there and say you didn't know he loved you back?"

"No, I was afraid, so I ran, I couldn't handle it Bri, there was always something holding him back."

"Don't you see Anna, your still running and you wont stop until you guys confront this. You need to tell him how you feel Annie, he loves you, and I know you still love him back or we wouldn't be having this conversation." Brian preached.

"Please Anna, do it for him, do it for yourself none the less." he added.

"Are you sure it's the right thing to do, I don't want to just walk back into his like and screw it up again."

"I know it's the right thing to do! Beside's there's no way you can mess it up worse then you already did."

"Oh thanks," she laughed.

"Come help me pack some stuff..." she said and grabbed his hand.

"What do you mean."

"I'm gonna surprise him, when do you leave for Florida?"

"Tomorrow, why."

"Then I have to hurry...." she replied and pulled him down the hall to her bedroom.

The five guys sat in the air craft impatiently awaiting the go ahead to start getting off the plane. The first thing AJ planned to do was go visit his Mom, he had started drifting further away from her when the tour started and didn't call her like he normally did. He felt bad and he was going to go and take her out to dinner to show he was sorry. Once they got off the plane the guys rushed to get to the limo. The vehicle soon hit the busy motor way and sped down the highway.

Once the limo reached it's destination and AJ grabbed all his stuff, he threw it in the cab that was waiting for him and got in. He told the driver where to go and they pulled out from the curb to hit the road once again.

20 minutes later he arrived at the small beige house, that had many tree's and bushes in the front yard. He quickly got out of the car and grabbed his things. He ran up the path to the door. He dropped his stuff and walked inside.

"Ma..." he echoed threw the house.

"Alex, is that you?" she asked entering the room.

"No ma.. It's the IRS, yes it's me!" he said and took her into a big hug.

"Then boy am I glad to see you!"

"Funny! I made reservations for dinner, go get ready!"

"Alex, not tonight, some other night, why don't you go home and un pack."

"No, I want to spend time with you, I can un pack tomorrow."

"Alex listen to your mother, GO HOME!" she said sternly.

"Fine! I don't have a car though," he replied.

"Here, take the F150." She said and threw him the keys. AJ caught them and walked out. He grabbed his things and once again was on the road for home.

He took out his keys and slipped it into the lock, he hated this he tried to post pone walking into the sad and empty house but it didn't work. The door swung open and he slid his cases along the tile, as his two dogs jumped up and down for attention.

"Hey guys! You hungry?" he smiled, petting there heads roughly.

"There fine, I fed them!" Came a sweet voice. AJ shuddered, "Who's there?" he called walking into the living room.

"It's been too long, Alex." she smiled, but AJ was taken back.

‘Who was this girl and why is she in my house' he thought.

"Don't tell me you've forgotten me already." she said and stepped into the light.

When AJ saw her face he felt like he was going to pass out.

"Anna?!?!" he questioned.

"Yes Alex. I've missed you!"

AJ stood there quietly, he didn't know what to say, all he knew was that seeing her again was such a relief, it had been such a burden not knowing what was up with her. He took a step forward and pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly he whispered, "I missed you too!" and kissed her cheek softy. Seeing her again brought back so many great memory's. Anna pulled away and grabbed his hand, she brought him over to the couch and they sat down.

"How did you find my house?"

"Brian and your mom, but that's not what I'm here for AJ. We need to talk, we've needed to talk for the past two years." she stated simply.

"Anna I love you!" he whispered.

"AJ, I'm sorry for leaving you... wha...WHAT did you say?"she replied, finally realizing that he had said something she wasn't aware of.

AJ took in a deep breath, and slowly exhaled. ‘Oh god, not this again' he thought

"Anna I love you! And only you..."

"AJ please.." she said but was cut off.

"Anna don't interrupt me, I'm gonna get this out if it kills me! There are things that I have been hiding for so long, It's eating at my heart, and making me a bad person because of it, I cant stand myself anymore Anna... I love you and I'm not afraid to admit it anymore. I've loved you for so long. I don't even know why I wasn't able to tell you. I'm sorry for all the pain I have caused, and I hope you can forgive me." he took a long breath. "There I've said it"

Anna looked at him long and hard.

"You shouldn't be the one apologizing Alex, I was the one running from my feeling's. I'm so sorry for making you the person you are today. There's something you never knew and I have to tell you. So please don't hate me for it."

"Nothing you can say will make me hate you Annie."

"Ok well here it go's, The reason I left, was to get away from you... yeah you, I couldn't care less about some job. You were killing me AJ. Couldn't you see that I loved you with all my heart. But every time I'd try and talk to you about it, you would always shy away from it. My love for you ate away at my soul, and I realized I could never love anyone the way I loved you. You had me in your hand the whole time, I would have done anything for you. All you had to do was tell me you loved me and I would have been right there, But it was like you gave up on me so there fore I gave up on you." she sighed, as the tears burned in her eyes, and fell down her cheeks.

" Figuring if I'd leave, you and I would be better off, but obviously I was wrong, I couldn't help but blame myself for what happened, thinking I was the one to give up and maybe if I didn't leave so soon you might of confessed your feeling's."

"No Anna, I don't think I would have, But I am now! I love you and I hope your feelings for me are still there, but if they're not I understand."

Anna didn't know what to say, she knew she still loved him with all her heart but she didn't know if she was IN love with him. She leaned toward him, he got the hint and did the same. Their lips were just inches apart. Anna's heart was jumping out of her chest anticipating his next move. Finally there lips met one another's for the first time. It was like tiny explosions taking over AJ's body, it felt miraculous. He opened his lips slightly inviting her in. The kiss grew in depth and the two never wanted it to stop. Anna's body felt weak, all she wanted was for him to show her all the love and compassion he had built up inside, all the love he had for her, and he did. Anna pulled back and AJ's eyes opened slowly. He burned into her eyes with his gaze. His eyes had something they never had before, the spark and unique glow to them, the sparkle of a guy who had fallen IN love for the first time. Anna smiled brightly. She was absolutely beautiful in AJ's eyes, he never wanted her to leave him again, He was going to hold on to her forever.

"I'm in love with you Alex, and I always have been and will be until the day I die." she smiled as he took her into his arms.

"I love you too," he smiled. " But promise me you will never leave me again.." he added this time very serious.

"I promise."

Anna and AJ had finally come to terms with there feelings, they excepted it. And there conscious would never get in the way again. They promised each other they'd stay true and let one another know how they felt, no matter what the consequences were. They loved each other and that's all that mattered.
