Alexander Regan was born about 06 March 1827 in Robeson County North Carolina.  He is the son of Robert Alexander Regan and Mary Evans.  Alexander married Sophia E. Davis, born 02 January 1830 Pulaski County Georgia, 21 December 1852 in Pulaski County Georgia.

Children of Alexander Regan and Sophia E. Davis:

1.    Lionel Regan was born about 1853 in Georgia.

2.    Robert F. Regan was born about 1855 in Georgia.

3.    Mary E. Regan was born about 1859 in Georgia.

**NOTE**  Alexander is listed on the 1850 census record as "Alex Regan" in the household of James H. Burkhalter and Ellen M. Burkhalter.  But is listed on the 1860 census record as "Alexander Bryant".  Why the name change?  The only connection to the Bryant family is:  Robert Alexander Regan's sister, Elizabeth Span Regan married Reddick Bryant in Pulaski Co. GA on 13 September 1821.
